I'm currently looking for art of my new ShadowClan baby, Yewkit. I'm super hyped to roleplay her, and I'd love to have her drawn by other people! I'll also draw her myself... eventually... but I have a lot going on in my life and other art pieces I need to do. So what better way to get artwork than paying other people to do it?
As I'm sure you've guessed, I don't have a physical reference of her yet. However, I do have a detailed description that I've broken up into easy-to-read bullet points and some external links that show color and body type. I've already commissioned @alec, so if I get permission from him, I'll use his drawing as a reference once it's complete!
Here's Yewkit's description:
AFAB - she/her
BODY TYPE
- Absolutely massive
- Heavyset/stocky build; plump
- Broad head, chest, shoulders, back, and paws
- Minimal muscle since she's only a kit but still clearly strong
- Her body type is similar to that of a Maine Coon's or a Norwegian Forest Cat's; it's called the substantial body type
FUR TYPE
- Unusually long, thick, fluffy coat
- Mostly soft and flowing, but it sticks up in some places because twigs and things easily get stuck in it; some parts are muddy. She grooms her fur a lot, but she often misses spots
- Tufted ears
- Spiky mane that sticks up
FUR COLOR
- Striking bright scarlet base
- Rich, dark colorpoints that fade into the rest of her body. What this means is that the tops of her ears, the center of her face, the bottom of her legs, and the end of her tail are this color, then they gradually fade into her base coat
EYES
- Round, fiery amber eyes
OTHER
- No scars/deformities
- Skin is berry-pink
Please let me know when you've drawn the lineart! I have a pretty clear image of her in my head, but no drawn reference. I'd like to look over the lineart to make sure the body type and fur are the way I'd like before you move onto the coloring stage.
