Sky blue eyes popped open to scrutinize the cat who’d come to sit beside her. Who was this… creature, and why were they here? Mouth set in a determined scowl, Strawberrykit found her gaze drifting to the warrior’s curled tail.
“Snowybreeze is father.” She affirmed after a moment, none too willingly. Fine… she would tolerate this cat’s presence… for now, since he seemed to know father and that’s what Snowybreeze would want her to do.

Ah, so she was Snowybreeze's and Berryfrost's kit! His green eyes flickered to the kits scowl, smiling at her attitude. She was just like him as a kit, all scowls and forcing herself to tolerate his presence. "I'm Whisperinghive, I knew your mother, Berryfrost." The warrior introduced himself, his flicking out softly before curling around his paws again. "In fact, I was her apprentice." He remembered when his first mentor taught him to catch mice, his fur warming up as he remembered how excited he was about it. "She was a great mentor." And taken too soon.. Damn you, Cowtuft.

Strawberrykit blinked up at the orange tom, her deadpan expression unimpressed. Rounded ears flicked, a permanent frown pasted on her maw the bellied her gnawing hunger. But she was full. It was an odd feeling. Her belly sloshed with milk, and her tummy was round. The signs of a clearly well-fed kitten.
Regardless, Strawberrykit found herself shuffling forward to smack Whisperinghive's tail, as if it'd offended her entire family. "I knows. You not special. Father told. Orange." She added as an afterthought. Creature, more accurately. "Stop move tail. I bite it."

Sedgekit and Whistlekit sit in the nursery. Whistlekit is cleaning her pelt the best she can, wiping off and mud or dirt and gazing at herself in the reflection of a small, smooth stone. "I look pretty!" She purrs."Really pretty. I'm going to be the prettiest cat in Windclan!" Whistlekit makes an excited whistle.
Sedgekit is busy using his tongue to slowly lick the top of his littermate's head. He doesn't reply, only carefully arranging her fur in a way that satisfies him.
"I'm going to lokk for stones as pretty as I am!" Whistlekit declares, "We need more!"
