Alpinepaw briefly dipped her head in greeting and followed the smaller group. She was looking forward to the clan's trip and what they might see. This could provide a chance for a few cats to talk to Alpinepaw.

Cypress’paw poked his head out of the apprentice den. “Hike? Sounds fun!” He trotted over and spotted the familiar orange and black pelt of Alpinepaw, walking over to greet her. “Hey! You going on the hike too? I wonder what they mean… a hike?” He furrowed his brow in contemplation. He had no idea what a hike was. If Alpinepaw was here, it had to be fun.. right?

Fleckpaw is just about to leave with the rest of the group, when she sees Beetlepaw. Fleckpaw hesitates.

"Nevermind, I think I'll stay behind." She meows apologetically to the cats around her, "See you later! Beetlepaw!" Fleckpaw bounds towards Beetlepaw, intending to keep her friend company. There was a lot of things they could do at camp- she didn't really need to go on a nature hike. Shadeclaw doesn't react to her departure, and mutely steps forward.

"Alpinepaw! Dawnpaw! Good to see you two are coming along too! This is Swiftheart and Shadeclaw." Fleckpaw introduces both cats, flicking her tail to each of them in turn as she does so. Shadeclaw dips his head in aknowledgement.

As Fleckpaw hears Swiftheart's name being mentioned, she smiles and flicks her tail to the other guides, like a wave goodbye, indicating her to lead the way.
