Brokenstream gave an amused purr at the she-cat's joke. "A funny one, I see." He remarked with a playful glint in his eyes. "Good, we need some more laughter in RiverClan as of late." With a jerk of his head signaling Raccoonsun to follow, he began the trek down to the riverbank by the temporary camp. "Of course I'm sure. Part of being a Lionheart means helping the Clan- and now, you're the Clan." The bengal called over his shoulder with a wink.

Glancing around, Wisteriawren's gaze fell on a cluster of pebbles nearby, stacked neatly in a pile. She blinked, tilting her head curiously at it, forcing her mind to remain focused on... the item in front of her, and not the swirling mess of thoughts in her mind.
'But life keeps moving on.'
One small step at a time.
A slow exhale, and Wisteriawren had taken the few steps to the pebble. She settled beside it, wiping a stray tear from her eye. It hurt so much, to pick herself up and move on. But that was what she'd have to do, because life moved on, whether with you or without you.
'And I've got this one advice,
Pretend that today is the first day of the rest of your life.'
Cradling the pebble in her paws, Wisteriawren brought it to eye level, gaze softening with fondness, paw shifting to reverently brush away the stray dirt. Here it was, the first love she'd ever harbored. It hadn't abandoned her, even when she had abandoned it. Because Wisteriawren had fallen in love with nature a long, long time ago. Setting the smooth rock down, the RiverClan molly let out a breath.
'Pretend that today is the first day of the rest of your life.'
She could do what she used to. Give a gift. Make someone else's day, because it brought her joy. Silently, Wisteriawren dipped a single toe-bean into a splotch of mud, tracing the rim of the rock, decorating it, taking her time. Making others happy was what she was here for. . . this Clan needed it.
