Vinekit ran over. "Alright. And Briarberry said the den could use some cleaning up, too." She meowed and gathered dry moss with her paws.

Beetlepaw grabbed a heap of moss in her jaws before turning around, waiting for Vinekit. “Come on, she won’t wait all day!” She tried to mew through the moss.

Vinekit flicked her ears irritably. "You said gather all the moss I can and that's what I'm doing!" She meowed, slightly agitated. Vinekit picked up the clump of moss she had gathered and padded to the nursery.

Roaringmoon fixed up the holes in the den, muttering under their breath as they did. “When the two ‘medicine cats' die and we end up in a never-ending circle, ain"t my fault.”
