"Bitternpaw," Petalrot calls, poking bug's head into the apprentice den and looking around for the aforementioned cat. Though bug has no apprentices of bug's own to train, bug's taken it upon bugself to help out when he's able to, and if that means finishing up border and landmark tours... well, a walk around the territory might be nice, so Petalrot won't complain.

"Hillstrider's mentioned something about you still needing to see our borders," the tortoiseshell tom intones once the silver apprentice joins him, "so I figured I'd help out a little and get those underway for you if you're willing. If there's anywhere else you still need to see, we can hit those while we're out as well."

Busy grooming himself, he pauses when he hears the call of his name. Turning to glance at Petalrot from his spot in his nest, an ear flicks curiously before he's rising to his paws and stretching out his back. Viewing the borders was one of that last things he needed to do to become a warrior, right? And if bug was offering then who was he to refuse? Padding toward the entrance of the den, he slips past bug out into the camp clearing with eager eyes.

"More than willing. I'm ready to go when you are."

Hm, eager, that was good. "Right then, let's get going." That settled, bug ushers the apprentice out of camp and begins the journey to their first landmark.

Herondive Hollow was first up on their list, and as pine slowly transitions to oak, it becomes apparent where they are. "Our ThunderClan border, Herondive Hollow, named for the simple fact that this place used to be inhabited by large flocks of herons. Not so much anymore, though." Bug flicks an ear, green gaze glancing around warily.

"Keep an eye out for evidence of two-legs," he intones. After what happend here with Mirepaw... you can never be too careful.

"Not anymore? Why not?"

Where did they all go? If flocks of herons existed here in such numbers that it granted the land it's namesake, where they did they get off to? At the mention of two-leg activity he freezes up a bit and glances about expectantly, as if at any moment one would come stumbling at him with outstretched arms and he'd have to high-tail it back to camp. That wouldn't be very pleasant. He wanted see the borders as quickly as he could. Golden gaze falls upon Petalrot once more, both expecting an answer from bug and expecting to move along away from such a seemingly dangerous place.

"Since the creek's gotten drier and the green-leafs warmer, the birds don't come here to roost as much anymore," bug explains, glancing at the apprentice, noting how he seemed to freeze at the mention of two-legs. Smart kid. "C'mon, let's get going. No use lingering here longer than we need to."

Next up on the list was Saltmeadow Marsh, their border with RiverClan. The marshland here is almost perpetually squishy and muddy, and as such it has never been among Petalrot's favorite places to patrol.

"Saltmeadow Marsh," bug introduces the land, "our border with RiverClan. Right now, the borders aren't quite as defined as they normally would be - no rotten fish in the forest to keep up with their side 'n all that - feel free to cross it if you spot some herbs the medicine cats can use, or if you find some prey."

Cross the border? Wasn't that against the rules? Even if Riverclan wasn't in the forest for the time being the apprentice found it difficult to justify crossing into their territory to benefit off their land. Though he would say that he had a decent ability to hide his thoughts and feelings the obvious distaste is apparent in the way that his ears fold back in disapproval. He says nothing on the subject, moreso scanning the land for any sign of recent Riverclan activity.

"Seems like they've been listening to the exile... Can't smell them very much from here."

Well, actually, Midnightpath had been here the entire time. Why hadn't anyone addressed her? Because, she was taking this as a learning experience as well–a learning experience on how to lead an apprentice through the territory on a tour. If she was going to be teaching an apprentice any time soon, she had to know how to teach them. So, she had been following behind them, making sure that they'd all keep safe while also keeping mental notes as to how to host a lesson of this type.

So, yes, she had been here the entire time, just toddling along. Quiet but definitely here!

"No, but that's a good thing. Perhaps the guppies will finally learn to stay in their lane..." Petalrot notes and flicks bug's tail to indicate that they were moving along now, gaze settling briefly over Midnightpath, who had asked to shadow this tour for future reference... proactive, that one. She'd make a good mentor.

Whispering Wetlands was up next, the mire where swamp met moor creating slightly muddy and mossy ground, shaded by a few large willow trees, their weeping leaves swaying in the breeze carried over from the moor.

"Our WindClan border, Whispering Wetlands... watch out for the bunnies, they've been causing trouble lately." Bug didn't actually have a whole lot to say about this place. He could mention that he used to be told kit-tales about the voices of long-dead Dark Forest cats in the wind here, but Bug didn't exactly hold much credence to such stories, so bug decided against it. "Did you have any questions, or was there any place else you still need to see?"

Causing trouble, huh? Leave it to another clan to step up and wreak havoc on the others. If it wasn't Riverclan, then it would be one of the other two. Sighing irritably with this new information, he stares out across the border at the plateauing moors as if there would be a patrol on the other side just waiting to ambush them as they walked past.

"Not particularly." He replies, gaze returning to settle upon bug. "As far as questions go. As for other places... I have not seen any that the new camp has to offer. If you don't mind walking a bit more perhaps we could at least visit one of them. I'm curious as to what they are like compared to our old territory."

Just when he had gotten comfortable with the entirety of their old territory, stupid twolegs forced them somewhere completely foreign and new. Not that he hated the new camp it just... Was different. And so was the land that neighbored it.

Midnightpath and Omari in extension did not have a lot to say. The molly just followed along quietly, essentially acting as if she wasn't there at all. She just wanted to watch and learn so that she could teach apprentices, too!
