Every day was a day closer to Wormkit's appentice ceremony. The days began to drag the closer it got though. He needed that freedom, he need to be allowed to wander in and out of camp as it wished. The black and white tom let out a heavy annoyed sigh as he gently tore at a ball of moss trying to cure his boredom.

Wildpaw was running when she stoped because she saw Wormkit. "Hey, You excited to be an apprentice soon?" she mewed sitting in front of him. @seeingstars

Wormkit sighed heavily and nodded "yeah- the first 6 moons went by so quickly, but this one feels like it's already been 3 moons" It said with a groan, rolling onto it's back to look up at her. It gave her a soft smile "I wish I wasn't going to be so far behind our denmates" The Shadowclan tom said with a sigh.

"Just because you're behind doesn't mean you won't do great. Hey, maybe you'll even be better than me." She mewed trying to comfort her friend she felt bad that she had left him behind in the nursery. @seeingstars

"Yeah but it's so boring here- and like kinda embarassing to explain to kits your age why you aren't an apprentice yet" It said sheepishly, it's pale gaze falling to the ground at her paws.

"Who cares what they think you're still part of the clan and older than them. Also if you get tired of telling other kits. make up a cool story." She places one of her paws on his. "No matter what anyone else thinks you're still a very awesome cat." she mewed she took her paw off his and smiled she felt bad for him. @seeingstars

A soft smile graced his face as he looked into her eyes. He leaned forward, affectionately bumping her cheek with his nose. The black and white tom sighed "What have you learned so far from your mentor?" He asked, tilting it's head curiously as it sat up straighter.

She blushed as Wormkit bumped his nose on her cheek but she tried to hide it. "I learned how to hunt I've caught 3 mice today." she mewed smiling. She couldn't wait for Wormkit to be an apprentice with her. @seeingstars

"yeah sure common" Wildpaw sprints off to her fav hunting spot. "Remember when hunting for a mouse it will feel you before it can smell you so try to hold your body weight in you hunches." she mewed @seeingstars
