"Good." She purred, giving him a quick lick to his cheek before she really thought about it. She felt heat prickle under her fur again, but she didn't mind the sensation now. After a few days of having fun together, she'd come to enjoy how it felt to be around Lionscar. Even when she was flustered.

Heathernose felt a tingling heat rush through pelt again. She looked at her paws bashfully and purred, leaning against Lionscar and resting her tail on his. She enjoyed that moment for a while, but she knew there were things that needed to be addressed too. Sooner rather than later, she couldn’t help but feel that the longer they went without addressing it, the more that the tension of it would build and possibly destroy them. Are you watching mom? Am I doing the right thing?

She took a deep breath before continuing. “Lionscar…we need to discuss what happened with…your brother.” She didn’t want to say that crowfood-eater’s name. She stayed leaning against Lionscar, drawing strength from being pressed against him.

"well when we were kits my parents always paid attention to me because he was always trying to find a mate and was never around. One day he got mad and killed them and we joined Windclan he also killed our sister." he mewed. @Luna16

Heathernose listened solemnly, twining her tail with Lionscar's and touching her nose to his shoulder to try and comfort him. "I'm so sorry, Lionscar." She murmured. "I never knew any of that."

Neither of us have really talked to each other about our families much...
