Cloverkit scoffed at the apprentice's silliness and turned to Ashkit. She gave the slightest of nods and pretended to give up. Oh no! The big cat has it! There's nothing we can do. Cloverkit pretend groaned.

Ashkit tried to jump and reach the ball, but didn’t succeed. He tried again. Almost. He jumped one last time and gave up. He sat back down and looked at who was next to try and catch it.

Hey, watch this! Cloverkit meowed and crouched down, ready to jump. She sprang and jumped right where the apprentice had thr ball and snatched it.

“Oh, you’re better than me!” Ashkit said playfully. He suddenly dived forward and snatched the ball from Cloverkit’s paws while saying ‘me’, to catch her by surprise. “Haha, got it!” He said.

Cloverkit yowled in surprise. She rolled over and pounced on Ashkit. You furball! Cloverkit meowed teasingly and snatched the ball from her paws.
