Day by day he checked on her. Once again he woke up and padded up the the she-cat. He rested his head up to hers, which still felt warm. “Poor thin’” he muttered, thinking of how he could help her. He’d have to f8me herbs or some healer or something! But he didn’t know anything or anyone. So he went for some moss and soaked it in a clean water source he had found before returning to her and cleaning out her wound carefully.

Lavender was having the weirdest dreams, and it was nearly a quarter moon before she woke up again, her fever having miraculously broke, and wound having cleared up. "Uh...." her head was foggy. "How long was I asleep?" Reed seemed to be nearby.

Other than hunting and fetching water, he had stayed by Lavenders side the whole quarter moon. He constantly checked her fever and breathing to confirm she was okay. He had been grooming her head to try and cool it when she finally woke up, allowing him to sit in relief. “Oh thank goodness you’re awake…” he smiled softly at the she. “You were out for…quite a bit.” he didn’t want to spook her too much yet though. “How do you feel?” he questioned.

"Like a monster almost squashed me. And are you licking my head?" she asked groggily.
