Honeypetal padded into the Warriors' Den, his fur slightly ruffled. His pelt had a slight stench of fresh vole, despite having none on him; this was because he'd put any prey he had into the freshkill pile.
Just a little bit of a rest before I do...something..? Honeypetal thought.
The young cat plopped down onto their nest, then shifting to a more comfortable and presentable position.
Honeypetal bowed down her head, licking her paw before rubbing it onto her forehead, repeated a few times. Clean enough for now, her thoughts assumed. She then sat in silence in the nest, before beginning to hum a quiet and soft tune.

Strawberryfur padded into the den slowly with a quiet yawn, but then her ears perked up at a gentle, sweet sound. She looked over where her denmate laid in their nest, smiling and waving her tail in greeting. "That's a lovely melody!" She purred gently, not wanting to be too loud to avoid startling them.

Strawberryfur smiled and purred as she settled into an empty nest next to Honeypetal. "Overall can't complain!" She meowed. "The weather has been fair, prey is running well. It's a bit hot but not like 'great StarClan my pelt is on fire' hot you know?" She babbled excitedly. "The clan is doing well and things are relatively peaceful!" She purred, blinking at her denmate. "How about you?"

Honeypetal nodded. "Yes, yes," he said. "I'm doing alright. Caught a pretty good vole just now. And I do personally like the temperature as is, but we know it likely won't be this way forever." Honeypetal licked at his own paw and grazed it onto his ear before continuing. "Glad to hear you're doing well."
