The large marbled enforcer had gotten his apprentice up as the sun began to set and darkness began to creep over the forest and headed out of camp. His mind had been occupied with the fact him and Owlthroat were now mates and it made him giddy with excitement. But he needed to keep up with Pondpaw's training.
Stopping in a small clearing, he turned to the she-cat, swishing his tail, teal eyes gloeing in the growing darkness.
"Now that your paw is much better, I thought we could come out tonight and do some night hunting."
He smiled warmly at her. The former RiverClanner had gained his respect and he had shown her his softer side on multiple counts.
"So.. if you can, could you show me your hunters crouch? This is just to help me gauge your current skill. Afterwards, we can practice your stealth and ability to blend into shadows as we hunt." He proudly puffed out his chest.
"That is ShadowClans skill."
