Re: The Rift [ Atari / RiverClan Border ]
Sunsetgleam
Riverclan Warrior | They/Them | 13 moons
Mind Reader, Herbal Knowledge T2, Rapid Recovery Sunsetgleam turned towards the lionheart and…wherever…Russethowl was…where was him? He couldn’t have possibly left all of a sudden. Could he? Seabreeze had made it clear to stay within eyesight and it doesn’t look like he sees the former thunderclanner either. So it wasn’t just them, huh? The young warrior just silently wished he just went off to search somewhere and accidentally went off trail. Who knows, maybe he found something and decided to investigate further. Wait, no, if he did then why didn’t he say anything? That just doesn’t make sense at all. “You’re right, we probably should to check up there. Can’t find anything here. Everything seems pretty quiet; so far the cats over the border seems innocent” they paused. Fadingstar told them to check the border on the far down…so that probably means there’s another patrol being sent for the other part of the border. The other patrols were checking the territory or the forest so it’s most likely Fadingstar’s patrol going to the border
they walked back towards Seabreeze, still no sight of Russethowl. Did he even follow the patrol to the border? Their eyes slowly drifted away ever so slightly. They saw him earlier back at camp so they knew he was probably following along with the patrol. Did he fall back? No, that’s unlikely. They didn’t want to think bad of anyone or suspect anyone but with Dusklion missing anything could’ve happened as much as they’d hate to ponder over the possibility of a traitor among the clan. They can’t be sure about it “Russethowl…so neither of us knew where he went just now or what happened to him…” they aimed that to themselves, not really expecting a response before their gaze went over towards Seabreeze again “Let’s get going then”

She/Her | Purrk(s): Just A Scratch
MINOR TW
Wisteriawren needed to stop sitting around. Needed to... think of anything. Anything other than the swarm of sadness buzzing in her head. She had stopped taking prey from RiverClan's pile a while ago - her mind was a fog and couldn't recall when she'd made the decision - and now she'd gone a little too long ignoring the rumbling in her stomach. But even looking at the prey pile, much less taking from it, felt wrong. And she was too terrified that every single RiverClan cat knew of her recent failures, and that they were just hiding their angry words behind vague smiles, to take any food for herself.
Now she was hungry, starving one could say, and drinking water to fill her belly as she'd been doing made her feel sick. That, along with the fact that she had thrown up a while back - good thing she had been out of camp and nobody had witnessed that - had ushered her further into RiverClan's temporary territory to... here. Where Dusklion had told her she liked her.
For a moment, Wisteriawren stood there, expression turning distant as she recalled the memory, a pang in her shattered, fragile heart. She sat down to bury her face in her paws. Her paws. They were so useless. Soft, clawless, unable to hurt anyone. Maybe it was a good thing, because she only wanted to hurt herself. Wisteriawren had finally figured out that all cats had claws. Except... her. She was the odd one out, for reasons unknown. Where had hers gone? For as long as she could remember, she'd never had them. The former kittypet wasn't sure how long she'd be able to hide the fact that she was declawed from her Clan. Would they get rid of her for it? She didn't know, but in her brain, the chances of staying were dim after what she'd done to Dusklion, to Antlerbranch, and then to. . .
Swallowing roughly, eyes pricking with fresh tears, Wisteriawren forced her paws to push her up again, wobbling for a moment as a darkness swept over her vision, turning everything black for a good few seconds before her sight gradually returned. Her head felt fuzzy, and her eyes hurt, weirdly enough. Wiping away the gathered tears, the pretty classic tabby stared at the scar on her forearm for a moment before exhaling. What had she been doing out here again? Oh, that was right. Hunting. Or, attempting to learn how to hunt, on her own, because she was starving and didn't want to take from RiverClan anymore when it felt like stealing.

Re: The Rift [ Atari / RiverClan Border ]
Saturn
Drinking in the sun, the Crown trotted over the familiar rocky ground. It had been a while again since she last got to frolic around in her territory since a few duties had kept her busy in camp, but she was free again.
Slow steps picked up speed, turning into running and the spotted molly began to sprint over a fairly open stretch of a mountain passage, agility turning around rocks and leaping over boulders, letting the brisk wind tug at her fur. She wasn't sure where she was heading, just enjoying herself without any clear direction, but gradually her paws brought her towards the edges of her territory where the newcomers' land slowly began.
The Crown hadn't really expected to see anyone here since the rift was usually pretty void of cats, only a few sparse check-ups from each group now and again, but she came to a halt as she scented one of the Riverclanians. "Just don't cross into our land~" Saturn had no desire to create badblood with the other group and so far neither faction had done anything to provoke, so her cheery comment was all meant in good fun, but she stopped completely when she saw the lump of grey fur hunched at the border.
The didn't look like they were starved per say, but Saturn got an uncomfortable feeling seeing them like that. But they were from the Riverclan, right? Yeah, she could smell their scent from the cat... so why did they look so miserable?? "Yo," she called and took the remaining steps between them. "dude, you alright? why're ya just lying here??"
