He carefully grabbed her scruff, pulling her up and standing next to her as a sort of support, allowing her to lean on him since he could probably support her whole body weight. “What happened to ya?” He asked concerned.

Lavender ~ Female ~ 11 moons
Lavender was kinda leary about this close touching normally, but it felt kinda nice for a change. She wanted to tell him about what had happened. She normally was so much more cautious, but he WAS nice. "Got bitten by a squirrel when I tried to go hunting."

I’ve never encountered one feisty enough to bite” he stated. “Here- I made camp not too far from here a bit ago if you think you can make it der’ ” he offered. “I’ll do my best to help ya out—I don’t know much bout’ healin’ and the last time I asked for help…well…” he pointed his claw to the scars all around his neck. “They just gave me more to deal with”

He really was nice. Lavender decided to take him up on that offer. "Sure, I'll go with you. I do need a better place to stay, after all. There are these cats, they call themselves 'Clan' cats. Think they're better than everyone else! They just like to threaten to drive me out if I go near their precious 'borders'." Lavender looked at Reed. "Say, Reed, was it 'Clan' cats that meet?"

He cracked a small smile, for some reason liking this cat already. “Damn straight it was.” He mused, shaking his fur out and supporting most of her body weight. “They’re mean cats, that’s for sure—anyways—you can stay as long as you wanna.” He smiled softly, starting to walk out of the abandoned den.

"T-thanks," Lavender said shortly. She had had a tough walk, and then set to licking her wound clean. Afterwards, she feel asleep. And stayed asleep for a few days as the wound got infected, and a fever raged.

Day by day he checked on her. Once again he woke up and padded up the the she-cat. He rested his head up to hers, which still felt warm. “Poor thin’” he muttered, thinking of how he could help her. He’d have to f8me herbs or some healer or something! But he didn’t know anything or anyone. So he went for some moss and soaked it in a clean water source he had found before returning to her and cleaning out her wound carefully.
