Brokenstream staggered into camp, the weight of Wrenseeker’s body starting to take a toll on him as he finally reached the edge of the clearing. Blood staining his pelt, he gently lowered her to the ground before nearly collapsing himself. However, he knew he needed to push through. His eyes were clearly glazed with shock and grief at the sight of Wrenseeker’s battered body, and he stunk of blood and some sort of bird. He had to push through.
”Fadingstar! You must come quickly!” He called hoarsely, stepping forward to use his body to shield the rest of his Clanmates as best as he could from the sight before them.

Ravenpaw hated watching her sister being scolded in the center of the clearing, but at least most of the clan didn't seem to notice. She certainly wasn't going to intervene on her sister's behalf in this one, she really should have known better. She looked around the clearing for Redmire, ready to do some training. Or rather, for anything really. She was starting to feel bored.

Oliverat ran straight at Ravenpaw, hoping he missed her, by a lot.
Being stuck in this camp was worse than wandering out in the open on his own (it really wasn't, he was just being cranky). Ever since joining RiverClan, he'd been stuck in the nursery without anything fun to do.
Making friends was hard. He wasn't like some of the other kits, easily able to strike up a conversation. Jaggedkit wanted someone to talk to and play with, but whenever he thought of approaching someone himself, he always chickened out.
At this particular moment, he loafed just outside the nursery, staring crankily at the ground. He had two more moons to go before he could start training to be a warrior (or so he'd been told), but to him it felt like two season-cycles.

The Storyteller's black and tabby front paws had their curled claws unsheathed as Baneberrykit pawed the moss ball back and forth. Her rounded ears remained pricked, listening to the world around her with endless, cheery curiosity. Sure, she couldn't do awesome lunges like Lionkit, or be big and strong and cool as Smolderkit, but she was content enough just happily exploring within camp or batting around whatever mossballs found their lonesome way over to her. Something the blue eyed kitten could do however is be social, and this is said For a rather sorry sight had been caught in her line of vision. A kitten, like herself, sitting outside the nursery looking particularly unpleasant. But that just made him all the better target of her attention. The tortoiseshell then looked down at the moss ball between her paws, gave it one last hug before it would most likely be destroyed (as Baneberrykit didn't know how to create a funeral service... yet) in play and batted it over so it would most likely bump into the kit... Jaggedkit, was it? Yes. Jaggedkit. She locked her sky blue hues upon Jaggedkit with an expectant expression. He should bat it back, but whether he would or wouldn't only time would tell..

It had only lasted a moment, but to the tired tom it felt as if a lifetime of pain and anger melted away. He felt… at peace. The welcome back drew a smile from the tom, a foreign, involuntary movement. This… this filled him with an unknown emotion that he was unable to place in this moment. Perhaps his exhaustion and hunger were getting to him (as evidenced by his rumbling stomach).
When the former leader pulled away, his smile faded and his eyes opened as she addressed him. A frown drew itself upon his face when she suggested seeing the medicine cats. He was fine. He didn’t need any assistance from some stinky medicine cats or herbs.
Shaking his head he coughed slightly. ”I’m fine.” He wasn’t, he was very obviously not fine. He knew she wouldn’t believe hm, but he lied threw his teeth regardless.
His head was still fuzzy, but now that he was able to form coherent thoughts, he took note of Larkwing’s appearance. She looked… healthy, at least compared to before (and him), but there was something else he hadn’t noticed on their journey: the scars.
Stepping closer, he walked to her side and reached out with a paw and gently touched it to the scar drawn across her flank, a look that was a mix of anger and sadness spreading across his features. ”Who did this?” He asked softly. He hadn’t noticed before, he should’ve, but he didn’t. This had been here since she came back, he was sure of it, but with only seeing her in his short bouts of consciousness before finding himself lost, he hadn’t properly processed that it was there. Dragging his eyes away from the long-healed wound, he faced her, anger blazing in his tired green eyes.
”Who. Hurt. You?”

Just as she was about to protest that, no, he clearly wasn't fine, Fishfreckle's voice suddenly turns very serious, eyes locking onto the scar on her flank. His concern takes Larkwing a little bit by surprise - did he just now notice it? For a moment, she flounders to find the right words, mouth opening and closing uselessly.
"It- it was a badger," she eventually says, blinking a little dumbstruck down at the grey tabby. "I'm fine, it happened moons ago, back in leaf-bare," would he even accept her assurance? Lark half doubted that. "What're you planning to do? Track down and kill every badger in the forest?" She asks with an awkward laugh, trying to lighten the atmosphere as she begins trying to gently herd her stubborn, idiot friend (?) in the direction of the medicine cats' den.
