Nightshade look at a flower. "That sounds like a cool job. Also is it just me or does that flower seem like it has a face?" he mewed he was still looking at the flower.

Heathernose tilted her head at Nightshade, she didn't expect him to be so easily distracted. But then again, she could use the distraction, she indulged him. Looking at the flower, she angled her head to see it from different perspectives until she could kind of see what Nightshade was talking about. "I think so." She meowed, glancing up at the tom, reluctant to admit she could see the face too now. "Once you see it, it's hard to unsee." She added with a chuckle.
"I will never look at that flower the same again." He mewed in a calm tone. He was trying to think of something else to say.

Heathernose nodded, then glanced at her clanmate. "You strike me as the type of cat who sees the world differently to begin with." She meowed, somewhat amused. "Now I'll be looking for faces in flowers!" She added, laughing. The thought was ridiculous, but she couldn't help picturing herself on a patrol seeing faces everywhere.
Nightshade laghed but then Lionscar walked over. He saw Heathernose and tried to hold back his blush but fail.

Heathernose was still having a good laugh at the face flowers when she saw Lionscar approach. She slowed her laugh to a chuckle and waved her tail in greeting. "Hello, Lionscar!" She meowed, nodding in greeting. "Are you well?" She remembered that Lionscar was recently reassigned to be Mosspaw's mentor. She took a mental note to bring it up to him, maybe he'll have some ideas on how she can approach Snowpaw.

The Huntress looked up in confusion as a rather... feather-y feather landed right atop her head from a flying bird. But confusion quickly faded to pure delight as she batted it thrice at top speed with her forepaw, pinning it to the earth and began attacking it before realizing it was an owl feather. Whoa!! What a coincidence! Owlpaws vicious and bloodthirsty attack on the feather faded to curiosity once more as she toyed with the object, blowing it up and swatting at it. Her delight didn't cease when she was approached by a warrior. Yay! A massive smile grew atop her maw as she was congratulated. It didn't feel the same as Plant Whisp'rer's (eyeball savior had earned her respect) or Breezy or Bigcat's, but it still felt marvelous. The Attention-seeker, as the trait suggests, adored attention more than anything.
Flicking her one standing ear, Owlpaw looked up gleefully at the warrior. Who she didn't know the name of. In her head she had deemed Leechscar Jumper, for his miraculous mechanism of making small kits jump in terror. Owlpaw wanted to make children scream too!! She would have to bluntly and cheerily ask him. Bluntness was sometimes key. But back on topic, The Huntress needed to name this approaching warrior. She looked wonderfully wonderful, and the mottled sneezer had decided that she remembered remembered name was Fadingdawn. But now Fadingdawn needed a new name. Bluebell was a fine name but in Reality she had thought of it by looking out of camp and seeing a bluebell. Shhhh. Bluebell didn't have to know that. "Hiya Bluebell!" She chirped. "Thank y'! Congratsesoliations f'r.. lookin' happy!" Owlpaw responded cheerfully.

Lionscar looked at Heathernose. "uh yeah how are you?" he mewed trying to not sound nervouse.

Heathernose tilted her head to the side. She noticed Lionscar's nervousness, but wasn't sure to the cause. She glanced at Nightshade, did he know? Why were her clanmates nervous around her? She looked back at Lionscar. "Congratulations on being reassigned as Mosspaw's mentor." She added. "I'm honestly a little nervous about taking on Snowpaw, stepping into another cat's paws and all." She felt a little more comfortable opening up about her concerns with Lionscar since he was in a similar situation. But he was also probably older and more experienced than she was.
Nightshade looked at the too cats he had a feeling why Lionscar was nervous but he didn't want to say anything. Lionscar mewed. "Yeah I haven't got a chance to train with Mosspaw yet but I plan too soon." Nightshade looked at both cats. "you guys are lucky you get apprentices." @Luna16

"Lucky is...a word." She meowed, chuckling off her anxiety. "It's honestly so much pressure...shaping the mind and future of a young cat who will one day serve the clan." As she spoke, her fur fluffed out a little. What if I'm not good enough? Or let my clan down... She shook herself off before she could spiral too far down that rabbit hole. Heathernose turned to Nightshade and smiled, touching her tail-tip to his shoulder. "You'll get your apprentice one day, Nightshade. And I'm sure you'll make a great mentor!" Then she turned to Lionscar, smiling at him as well. "We should set up joint training sessions! Snowpaw might benefit from training with a denmate." She didn't want to add that she'd feel more comfortable and confident with a clanmate there, she didn't want to appear totally weak and incapable. She needed to prove that Twilightstar made the correct choice in entrusting her with Snowpaw.
