ashkit snickered again at the younger cat,
“4 moons is still 4 moons, kiddo.” they remarked cheekily.
ashkit then started to stand up, and decided to grab a scrap of moss that was lying nearby,
“hey, you wanna play some mossball or whatever? i haven’t played a game of that for moons. literally.” they suggested playfully.
and they weren’t even lying — they really hadn’t played mossball at all for 2 moons.

Thrushkit giggled, laughing at the way the kits words were muffled. He perked his ears, thinking for a moment. He certainly had wished several times he could explore, but it wasn't allowed. Exploring would probably be allowed to him when he got his mentor! He silently wondered who might mentor him. AH, right! Answering a question.
"Well no, not yet! And the stories I've heard surely can't how colorful the outside really is!"
He said triumphantly, his little kit fur sticking up.
"I am excited for gatherings, and the Starcave sounds cool, too!"
Though Thrushkit couldn't find himself interested in something like that. Sure, he liked herbs, and definitely wanted to learn more, but he couldn't imagine going to talk with StarClan. It did sound enticing, just not his type of venture. If it were to accompany a leader, though, he might change his mind. He was quite curious with how it looked. Hearing how it was described in stories was an entirely different thing. Thrush took a mental note, smile back on his face.
Starcave...Starcave! The thought of medicine cats and StarClan just never seemed to reach his mind. His thought dilly dallied to wondering why is was called the Starcave. Would there be stars within, how do get inside? Who would let the stars out when they get bored? Camp was getting boring for the little kit who had more than enough energy to scare the forest bleak of prey even in the prime of Green-leaf. Palekit's ear twitched in reply to Thrushkit, "Oh yess!" Palekit brightens up and padded towards Thrushkit. "The gathering! Me, too! I wonder what the other clans are like."
Palekit softly whispers as he approaches Thrushkit, "I've only heard stories of the other clans. But... but I bet! ShadowClan is the strongest of them all!" Palekit laughed as he showed off a measly move. Palekit swipes his paws around playfully at the other kitten as he jumps around. "Once we become apprentices, we will show how strong ShadowClan is!" Palekit soft mew made it's attempt to sound triumphant.
[ @rubberRatroom oh yeah! would we have to introduce their names or do they have a precognition of each other's name? either's good for me ]

“hah!” ashkit snickered as they kicked the scrap of moss directly into lichenkit’s face.
it made contact. thwack.
“whoops..” they mewed snidely.
lichenkit was smacked in the mouth with the mossball, leading to him promptly getting a mouthful of green ickiness.

“UGH!" Lichenkit spat. Ashkit was not getting away with this! The tom kitten threw it back. Sure, it stung but playtime was more important
