Birchpaw was late to the meeting, but he listened intently to what Twilightstar was saying. He had seen Sunburst - now Sunpaw - around camp and heard about his ex-mentor's demotion. He didn't know what to do. He hoped maybe Twilightstar could reassign him..? Maybe?

He cleared his throat nervously, shuffling his paws. "Uhm.. e-excuse me Twilightstar..? My mentor was Sunburst.. could I perhaps get .. reassigned..?" With a hasty dip of his head, he stuttered on. "I-if not.. that's okay too.."

Owlkit was quite literally bouncing her rump with excitement when Breezy walked up. Yayayaya! Breezy would see her be an apprentice! Become one! Be awesome and cool and the center of attention! Her favorite thing. She herself was an attention seeker and so thay just added on to the tumbleweed transformers glee. "Breezy, Breezy! 'M gonna be n 'pprentice, so so so excited!" she squeaked, purring loudly and uncontrollably. SNEEZE. aw man ruining her moment again. Oh well. The fuzzy mottled cinnamon cat jumped up and attempted to give her bestest(!!!!) Warrior friend a big Aubs hug. Then she pulled back and plopped onto all four paws. Aw man, she didn't wanna get clean! But she decided to abide by the offer and fluffed up her fur, shaking out her pelt and bringing a small cloud of dust up from her back to the air. But she didn't sneeze! Take that! But as she was about to lick her forepaws clean of the light colored dirt it happened. She was called up. Oh, wow, she was called up! From Auburn to Owlkit. From Owlkit to Owlpaw. Her pure joy was obvious. There was a sort of swagger in her step as the kit... soon to be apprenticed really; made her way up to the big Galetreewood. Her sense of purpose was obvious. The only kit becoming an apprentice? Whoa! All the eyes on her! The molly lifted her chin up proudly. Was Breezy proud? Or Bigcat? Would Mama be proud?

Say, she hadn't thought of Mama in ages. She had only thought of Bigcat and Breezy as her parental figures. Even though they definitely weren't mates, they were both sorts of mama's to Aubs herself. But she liked to pretend Mama would be proud. No more thoughts of Mama. In a couple of moments she had forgotten all thoughts of her Deceased mother and now only thought of how excited she would be. "Ima be the best 'pprentice Bigcat!" She assured with a whisper squeak. The turns back to look at Deadmoon, then waves at her with one paw happily. Then she was locked in, absolutely focused on her ceremony. Heck yeah!

The giant grouch padded through the camp entrance with gray fur wind-tousled. He was drawn over to the gathered clan when he recognized his mother's willowy frame atop the Galewood. His identical green eyes roamed over her slender build and peered at her serene mask. There were cracks, something was eating at her, but none but those who spent countless moons as close as he was to her could see them.

He'd have to see if he could annoy her enough to spill her worries later. Unless she was already emotionally broken getting her to talk even to him was a battle. Naturally, Leechscar blamed the clan and the lack of support they offered the leader. They relied far too much on WindClan's high ranks to the point that they turned into headless rabbits without them. Yet, as both ThunderClan and RiverClan have proven the clans shatter without strong stable leadership.

Twilightstar's been at the head of WindClan for so long that most took her for granted. It was only because of her that WindClan had any right to hold their heads higher than ThunderClan and RiverClan. He did wonder what state this clan would be in without her.

The news of a new apprentice caught his attention for a second. It didn't last long as his emeralds located a little white cloud. He's never seen this runt before. Unable to find Batglare amongst the gathered, Leechscar padded over to the moon-old kitten and lowered himself from his tremendous high to give the runt a curious sniff.

"You're that tiny cloud Twilightstar brought in, aren't you." The Fury meowed after he finished observing Cottonkit. His ears pricked as he heard the word outsider's gaze honing in on a pair of kits. It took him a few seconds to understand they were talking about the darker one's recent joining. Seeing nothing to attack right now, he returned to bothering the baby cloud.

"Are you supposed to be out of the nursery alone? Twilightstar must have found you a foster mother, where is she?" Leechscar didn't care when these little menaces were out in groups. But it was more troublesome when alone and no one watching them, especially one so young.

Cottonkit noticed Sedgekit’s tail flicker at him and he shot back a warm smile, the small kitten loved the little friendship they had started. He was about to begin bumbling his way over before he was interrupted. This cat looked a little scary, but had fascinating green eyes that Cottonkit just wanted to stare into forever and ever. He still felt nervous around the other cats, they tended to be a bit frightening. There was always the fear that they’d treat him differently. He wasn’t clan born after all.

”I…I..I’m sorry, L…Leopardsong is my new mama.” His tiny bob tail twitching anxiously. This wasn’t good, he didn’t realise he wasn’t supposed to be here. He’d just rolled and sprung along after the other cats. This seemed like so much fun getting the chance to see new apprentices. A few tears began to prick and glint in his eyes as a very sheepish smile crossed his blackened lips.

Twilightstar was just wonderful, how could he miss out on an opportunity like this. The other kittens seemed to think she wasn’t all that pretty with her scars and didn’t quite understand his awe. But she had brought him in from the cold, saved him.

”M..my name is Cottonkit, I wanna be a strong warrior when I’m older!” Confidence beginning to grow a little as he laced more words together. He hoped he would impress the scary cat enough so he wouldn’t get in too much trouble, although the facade was slightly dampened by still watery eyes. But Cottonkit would be brave, he had to be if he was ever going to grow up big and strong. Help other kits just like him and of course protect Twilightstar and mama.

Ashkit nodded and then saw Cottonkit talking to an older cat. Then Twilightstar started to speak and he didn’t pay more attention.

Twilightstar was distracted from watching the swaggering kitten walk up as Birchpaw mentioned his need for a new mentor. "I know, Birchpaw, that you need a new mentor. I'll take care of reassignment once I'm done with Owlkit's ceremony." Twilightstar told him kindly. He needed a new mentor and she should also reassign Mosspaw since she wasn't sure what was happening with Watertail. Oh, and Lightningpaw.

"Owlkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name you'll be known as Owlpaw." Twilightstar pushed reassignment to the back of her to focus on the kitten below her. "Your mentor will be Leechscar."

The lilac-gray feline smiled at the new apprentice and much like she did with all mentor and apprentice pairs, hoped they'd get along well. She spotted her son scaring poor Cottonkit, she doubted it was intentional but scaring nonetheless.

"Reassignments, listen up for your names. Birchpaw and Dapplebreeze, Mosspaw and Lionscar, Lichenpaw and Crowtooth, Spottedpaw and Buttercuptwist, Snowpaw and Heathernose, Mintpaw and Blossombunny, and Lightningpaw, you'll be training with me." Twilightstar finished with reassignment.

The fact that she had to reassign several warriors' apprentices due to complications had her fur prickle with uneasiness. She knew that there was nothing to be done about yet that didn't make her feel better. It was one thing when she had missing cats, but Wolffang was dead, Sunpaw was demoted for acting out and some strange blackout after killing a young cat, she didn't even understand what was going on with Watertail, and Bravebird wasn't faring the greatest after her litter.

She had been hoping things would be better after removing RiverClan, but it felt like one thing after another. If it wasn't a situation it was a goodbye. It felt almost ominous. She prayed that everything would start looking up from here. RiverClan would be returning soon and if Fadingsun was still vengeful WindClan would need more than this depressed, self-loathing, old fluff for brains at its head. She needed to get herself together, all the more for a walk after the meeting.

Leaping neatly from the Galewood to the roots below, Twilightstar padded forward to meet Lightningpaw and briefly touch noses with him. "I'm hoping Bravebird will fare better in due time, but for now, you're stuck with little old me." The she-cat purred jokingly and smiled. "You'll need to catch me up on what training you have left, but we'll talk more once I'm done with the meeting." Okay, so walk after tending to her new apprentice.

Mintpaw - A colorpoint gray-blue genderfluid with blue eyes - 9 moons - Glow/glowself

Mintpaw looked around, searching around camp for glow new mentor. The ragdoll mix limped to Blossombunny, a curious gleam in glow crystal-blue eyes. Mintpaw thought, what would have happened to glow old mentor? Was he dead? Glow hasn't seem him since glow went missing not too long ago. If he was alive, Mintpaw hoped he was alright. The feline snapped back to reality, here, glow new mentor in front of glow. Back to clan life. Glow hoped everything would be fine this time.

Lightningpaw- He/Him, 9 moons old, No Purrks, Windclan Apprentice.

Lightningpaw was stunned when he heard his name. Reassigned once again but maybe that wasn't so bad he was reassigned to Twilightstar herself! The Windclan Leader themselves would be taking interest in his training he didn't know how to feel to be honest and to top it off the one time he didn't groom his fur clean and proper was the one time when the entire Clan would be looking at him. Lightningpaw almost wanted to die of embarrassment. But he would stretch his neck out to touch his leaders nose in greeting. Lightningpaw was a tiny thing compared to most cats as he was a runt. He was 9 moons old but looked no older than 7 moons. Lightningpaw was an orange tabby with yellow eyes and a lithe build with a Lightningbolt scar on his flank. Lightningpaw usually had a good looking coat on him through constant grooming and cleaning it but when he gets super stressed out he sorta lets his coat go and it becomes disheveled this was the current state of his pelt. Lightningpaw didn't know what to think to be honest he felt torn on one hand he felt honored to be trained by Twilightstar but on the other he didn't know what was going to happen with Bravebird and that still worried him. Twilightstar seemed to understand though as her words about being stuck with her drifted towards him. "I'm honored to be trained by you Twilightstar until Bravebird gets better." Lightningpaw would reply to his leader respectfully he hoped Twilightstar wouldn't be too mad with his previous Mentors though when she learned just how much he didn't know and at 9 moons old no less. @Moonraven
