Maggotkit shrieks with delight, toppling backward in a hurry to save its grasshopper-paws from becoming snacks. It lands harmlessly on its back and squirms for a bit, laughably reminiscient of its namesake until it can finally get its paws back under itself. Maggotkit huffs and puffs, boasting a giddy little smile. It likes it when older cats play.

"You ate them all!" It announces. Wouldn't want Houndhop to go in for seconds, so it makes it known that he's succeeded in eating up the not-grasshoppers. "Now they live in your belly. When you jump, they will too, so you...so you jump really big." Maggotkit explains. It feels as though Houndhop should be rewarded for playing along, so it declares that he now has a special power which is tooootally real and legit.

"You'll jump like this." It demonstrates this new boon by jumping for Houndhop. It's not a remarkable jump in any way, but Maggotkit seems to believe otherwise. "Like that, see? You can jump like that now. Do it."

Perking up the molly grew excited that she was told they could teach her something. She knew the basics of hunting, but hadn't really gotten too far, except for the luck she had on that patrol. She still didn't understand how she managed to catch it. "Only how to crouch. That's about it.", she responded.

Barleypaw heard a familiar voice and turned around towards it. Yep it was Lightningpaw. Looked like he wanted to join them. She didn't really mind. It had been a while since they interacted. She'd love to have his company. "Of course! It's always nice to not train by yourself. Might be fun.", she meowed, her blind gaze moving towards him.

Sneezekit

Sneezekit was running Real Fast. They were running in a big circle around the perimeter of the camp, and had somehow managed to (more or less) stay out of the way of most cats. WindClan was known for its speed, right? And since Sneezekit was a WindClan cat, well, they'd have to be super fast too, naturally! And they had heard that the best way to get good at stuff was to practice, practice, practice. So practice they did.

They had done a few laps by that point and were starting to get more confident, weaving around rocks and roots and paws with great Agility. Until they bumped into someone. Sneezekit let out a squeak of alarm as they raced directly into an adult's flank, sending them flying backwards in a whirlwind of paws and fur. Having somehow managed to land on their paws, Sneezekit took a moment to regain their balance before slowly craning their neck to see the queen's face.

"Umm, sorry, Miss," Sneezekit muttered. That was it. They were going to Timeout for sure this time. This was surely the Woeful End of Sneezekit's Speed Training.

Grapevine walked carefully around the camp watching around with her kind brown eyes the queen sat down feeling the sum beam onto her long brown and white patchy fur as the queen sat she felt someone run into her flank grapevine looked to see who ran into her to see sneezekit still on there paws "Oh dear, are you okay?" the queen asked leading her big paw out to the kit "Oh sweetheart no need to be sorry It was a accident just watch where you are going next time okay?" she meowed she wasn't mad at the kit no not at all she was more concerned for the small kits well being

"It is awesome." Maggotkit agrees, beaming ear-to-ear. It seems remarkably cheered that someone was so willing to commit to the bit with it. Maggotkit's head tips to one side and then to the other, as if slowly coaxing water out of its thin ears, or rolling a marble around its otherwise empty little skull. For surely the kit has to be hollow-headed; its blank look (which had replaced the jovial grin in a snap-instant) seems to imply as much. Side to side again. Once more. Then Maggotkit fixes that unbothered look back on Houndhop

"Do you have a story?" The only thing it likes better than older cats who'll play is older cats with stories. This is why Maggotkit's so fond of elders, see. Houndhop's too young and spry to be one of those, but Maggotkit's hopeful that he's lived long enough, at least, to have learned a story or four. "I want a story," it presses expectantly, pawing at the grass underfoot and then circling a few times like it's tucking itself into a moss bed. It flops down right there.

"No? Are you suuure?" She draws it out teasingly, but doesn't dig at the matter. The height jab's just a throwaway bit anyhow; some frivolous line Whiterabbit's grasping at to pretend there's nothing better to talk about. Nothing more significant at all.

But, it's her brother. Her littermate. And sitting here, food on her face, embarrassment prickling her ears, with the weight of moons spent cowering in the nursery and marathon-napping to avoid the cats in her life digging into her shoulders, all Whiterabbit can even think anymore is—

"You doin' alright? Is everything, uh...is everything good? You're eating and all? Stretching? You should stretch, you know," you don't need to tell him to stretch he's a grown warrior, he knows about stretching, but she can't stop rambling, now—not even long enough to apologize for getting bossy with him. "How's hunting been? Good, probably? Have you uh, have you been on any patrols lately? Is that a thing you're up to? How's the warrior's den?"

What she means is, I missed you. She's not about to say that though. Yuck.

“Super super sure.” Tinybunny replies to her last comment of height.

And then, holy moly, that’s a lot of questions!
It didn’t bother him, it made sense, they hadn’t talked, in like, forrreeeevveeerrr.
Plus, he could answer all of them.

“Everything’s great! And I ate a big rabbit yesterday, and don’t worry, I’m like, suuuuppper stretchy.” He chimed in response “Huntings been good, at least for me. Haven’t been called on a patrol in a bit, but I’m hoping for one soon. The warrior’s den is the same old, with some grumpy cats, mostly cause I think they wanna sleep more or something, but who knows. Can’t wait to have both of us in there again though!”
He moved a lot as he spoke, it’s a way he kind of exaggerates what he’s talking about.

Sneezekit raised a brow. So they... weren't in trouble? That was weird. And why was she asking all those strange questions? Of course they were okay. They were Sneezekit, and they were unflappable!

"I'm fine, Miss," they replied, a smile growing on their face. "I'm real Strong, so even though I was running real fast, that didn't even hurt too bad." If this cat wasn't going to punish Sneezekit, then she must be one of those fabled Cool Adults. And if that was the case, then maybe they could be friends, right?

"I'm Sneezekit, by the way. What's your name, Miss?" A lot of kits like Sneezekit used lots of honorific titles like "Miss" and "Mister", so they knew that they were supposed to, too. Plus, they didn't want to risk upsetting the other cat by not being polite enough and inviting actual punishment.
