The moons progress, and finally, Cinderpaw was starting to no longer feel like she could sit around and wallow in her own self pity and anxiety. There are plenty of cats who function well enough with one less leg, why can't Cinderpaw be one of them? She's still afraid, of course, still timid and still watches her every step and moves deliberately and carefully, but she won't get anywhere if she doesn't at least try.

For a moment, the small tabby debates who she could go to and what she should ask for. The only time she's approached someone for training was Dizzycloud, and the molly.... didn't quite understand her gestures and her signs. Her family would be different, hopefully, and amber eyes scan the clearing for one cat in particular: papa. She finds Darkfall not far away and begins toward him, angling her approach to be from the front - as she always did - so she wouldn't accidentally startle anyone by suddenly appearing next to them.

'Papa,' she "signs" by blinking up at him, paw raised slightly where she could try and place it on his leg lightly, just in case his attention wasn't quite on her yet. 'Fighting training?' She asks, crouching low to the ground with her claws unsheathed, mouth pulled back in a very brief snarl, before she rights herself again, sitting once more with her head tilted to the side in question, waiting for the verdict of the cat who she looks so much like.

The Spectre, no longer an enforcer, was not allowed to leave camp by himself anymore. It was frustratingly inconvenient, and as such he spent most of his time in the camp, watching the other members of the clan as he did in his early apprentice days. During this study of his clanmates, he noticed that Cinderpaw was approaching him.

Eyes scanning her, he was unable to determine anything immediately wrong with the young she-cat and offered her a small smile as she approached. As the three-legged apprentice put her paw upon his leg, he realized that she wanted something. Curiously, he studied her movements. She appeared to be… asking for something? Intriguing.

”Training is what you want, hmm?” He asked her, thinking to himself. He didn’t really have much experience with training a three-legged cat, however, he did do some of his training with limited function of one of his forepaws before… Perhaps he could incorporate some of that into it. Of course, he would have to make other adjustments, however, he and Cinderpaw would be able to figure this out together.

”Alrighty then, climb upon my back. We’re not supposed to leave camp unless in groups of three, but I have special permission,” He said with a mischievous grin. It was technically the truth after all, it was just something he didn’t excerise often because he didn’t want to have to deal with any potential backlash and/or arguing. ”I’ll carry you along with me so that we can devote most of your energy into figuring out something that’ll work for you,” He told her softly, lowering himself down should she choose to do so ”Of course, you’re free to walk, however, don’t expect me to go easy on you if you’re tired. I’ll help turn you into a proper ShadowClan warrior even if it’s the last thing I do.”

The Spectre didn’t usually have such sentimental emotions, but seeing Cinderpaw’s state with both her muteness and her injury… it made him feel bad for her. She didn’t deserve such a wretched fate, so the least he could do was help her in any way he could (as he would with any of his other offspring). Expectantly, icy blue orbs watched as he waited to see what she’d choose.
