His mate, Foxwillow @/Snowyflake- He loves her with all his heart, even if they are fairly new mates. He loves getting to know her more and more and seeing her break from her shell. Overview:
A well-meaning, but vain tom. On the surface he’s quite sweet and indeed he does care for other, however underneath the empathy lies a selfishness he can never seem to address or get over. He’s more of an uncle than a dad, if you catch my meaning. Beyond that he’s a get-it-done guy. He does his duties to the best of his abilities no matter the task. Despite this when it comes to his down time he is rather flighty. He often takes long walks through the territory completely zoned out.

She’s a grumpy sour kit. There’s no pleasing this fiery little molly. She makes her opinion well known without regard to other’s feelings. She’s hard to deal with and difficult to befriend. Many of the adult cats in her life right her off as a spoiled brat, and the kits her age typically see her mostly as a bully. She is those things certainly, but underneath the bristles is a kit who got abandoned practically twice even in her tiny lifespan. She’s too young to know it but what she really wants is a friend, but for now Starclan help anycat who tries to get close.

Her mother and father are both still around, but they might as well not be for all the attention they show her. They were a young fling that ended as quickly as it started and they lost interest in her as soon as they lost interest in each other. They left her to her aunt Heatherbreeze who took on the job of taking care of her begrudgingly. She’s all too used to having to clean up after her little brother, and she blames him for how lonely and boring her life has become. This bitterness towards life and her brother rubbed off on Buttercupkit who wants nothing more than to impress her aunt and win her affections.

Pumpkinfire values knowledge the most. He is very introverted. In conversations, he is awkward, reclusive, and unsure. He is guided by his head, often callous and logical. His worldview is somewhat pessimistic. He is fun-loving, sweet, obedient, dreaming, cowardly, and inhibited. Pumpkinfire is intelligent, which reflects in his decisions, skills, and conversations. She’s a bitter molly. Her temper often gets the best of her, and she never shies away from snapping at cats. She’s generally disgusted by all social interaction. If you think it’s in character for your character to have a crush on one of mine, that’s totally ok! Just know that the feeling probably won’t be reciprocated. And always follow that WCO guidelines, of course!

I am open to any sort of harm that may come to my characters. As long as it fits the situation I’m cool with it! I would ask that you ask before giving them a fatal wound, however. I’m really attached to my characters and would hate to see any of them go. (And obviously, don’t power play.)

Things To Know Before Roleplaying With Me
Sometimes I will put a notice before a post or thread. This can happen for two reasons.
- Caution Notice.
I use this if there’s a chance of trigging content I want to make people aware of that hasn’t happened yet. Just to let people who might be uncomfortable with that content know ahead of time. And to let the people roleplaying on the thread know case they didn’t realize beforehand and would either like to opt out or need me to change things. As to avoid unpleasant surprises.
-Unsavory Character Notice.
This means that the character I’m playing has a personality that may be uncomfortable for some people. I use this notice to let people know that if they don’t want to roleplay with one if my difficult characters, that I can tone things down for them.

Description:
A brown tom with a sturdy build. His stern dark green eyes are sometimes hard to keep contact with. His expression is always serious, to the point where it's almost surprising if his face shows any kind of emotion. His tail is cut off about one-third of the way up, but its obviously an old wound or at least one that's healed.
Personality:
Serious but not unkind. A bit socially awkward but a reliable warrior. Adapt and still learning. An interrelation with Dogchase might be a little strange. His head is all rules, loyalty, and training so much so that he might miss other details like trying to understand emotion. He might come across as a bit dumb or even arrogant at first, but he's just a cat trying to do his best by pushing himself past his limit. That's what everyone does right?
KITHOOD
Dogkit was born as the middle kit of three to two proud Thunderclap warriors, Baymeadow (NPC) and Juniperthroat (NPC). They were good warriors, but loyalty to a clan doesn't make a cat any better of a parent. Neither of his parents were attentive to them during kithood other than providing them with their basic needs. This sparked a rivalry among the siblings as they all fought over which one would get the attention of their parents. After they left the nursery the siblings went their separate ways.
APPRENTICESHIP
Dogpaw was apprenticed to Dewyfoot (NPC) , an incredibly strict molly. She made it clear from the get go that she would not be any sort of mother to him. She pushed him aside anytime he tried to confide in her, always making sure he knew his place. They trained for long hours together. Dogpaw wanted to grow up and be a warrior as soon as possible and Dewyfoot wanted to train him to be better than the best. At this time the clan was in shambles moving quickly from leader to leader. She didn’t want her apprentice to bring anymore dishonor to Thunderclan. He took her assessment seven times, failing each one. Although he might tell you they were earned failures, the truth is Dewyfoot was looking for nothing but absolute success. He ended up passing on his eighth try, becoming a warrior at fourteen moons.
YOUNG WARRIORHOOD
As a young warrior Dogchase finally got some room to breathe, although he had no idea how to use it. Dewyfoot was no longer interested in him and he barely had time to make friends as an apprentice. He did his best and tried to make his clan proud, but that was about it. He felt empty. So one night he decided it was time to do something for himself. He left the camp while no one was watching. This, at the time, was perfectly within the rules but to Dogchase it felt like a crazy rebellion. He roamed the territory for the night, just running around feeling the wind in his fur and enjoying the cold night air. For a moment he was truly free. That’s when it happened. A young, starving fox, came barreling out of the treeline. He fled up a tree, but he was just too slow. The fox got ahold of his tail, and ended up ripping off two-thirds of it.
Recovery was hard, it got infected multiple times and he had to relearn a lot of basic warrior skills. During the process Dewyfoot rejected him as her apprentice, saying he was stupid to ever go out on his own. This happened when he was twenty moons old, but to him it's a fresh reminder that he must always be the best version of himself or he is unworthy.
