Whiterabbit's out here tearing up a bird. She's eating that thing like she's afraid someone's gonna take it from her. It...it's a ridiculous mess, frankly. Maybe Maggotkit gets its grubbiness from its mom. She's got down stuck to her bloodied chin, a mess of feathers spread out between her forepaws, and she keeps turning the meal over like it's some kind of puzzle just to figure out how to eat the poor thing.

And she looks thrilled about it, of course. Just tickled with herself.

Tinybunny walked out of the warriors den with a sleepy yawn.
StarClan, he wished there was a ‘sleepy’ rank in the clan.
Well, he really didn’t, but it’s be nice about right now.

Soon, he noticed Whiterabbit eating.
Oh, he could eat with her!
He didn’t talk with her much now that she’s a mother. And he’s an uncle, how cool is that!

Well, actually, he knew the rules, he shouldn’t eat yet until he’s gone to hunt, but he could at least chat with her!

Tinybunny cheerfully made his way over, before plopping down meside his sister.
“Hiiiii Raaabbiiiiit!” He drew out the words in an excited manner “Hoooowww’s it goooiiiiin?”

She flinches, and suddenly all that vicious glee has dried up. Whiterabbit blinks roundly at her brother, mouth full of her last bite, face decorated with gore. She's left feeling every bit as awkward as she looks. Hhhh...

It isn't that she dislikes Tinybunny. It isn't, not even remotely. But one would be right in guessing that she's been avoiding her brother as best she can for the past few moons (easy to do from inside the nursery), and one would even be right in guessing that it's for some shallow, mean, typical-of-Whiterabbit reason. In this instance, it's envy. Tinybunny has yet to go making any big, life-altering mistakes...that she's heard of, anyhow. And it's not some big crime to have your life together but Whiterabbit's pettiness is a beast beyond her control.

She wasn't going to hide from him forever, honest. Just until she was back in the warrior's den. Until they could go on patrols together, like they should have been this whole time, and she could pretend that that was all she'd ever been doing this whole time. Whiterabbit's ears twitch restlessly and, hasty, she lifts a paw to start scrubbing at her muzzle.

"Hey, 'bunny," she responds stiffly, eyes trained on the ground. In between feverish swipes at her mouth, she makes a few half-hearted attempts to scrape her mess together. "It's...it's going! You know. One way or another."

Starclan. What a lame response. What a non-answer. She's gotta think quick.

"..........Did you get shorter?"

“Shorter?” He replied to Whiterabbit’s sudden question curiously.
He wasn’t sure that was how height worked, but he gave himself the best once over he could.

“Maybe?”
Honestly, he had no idea, and he didn’t mind if he did.
Didn’t matter to him!

After another moment, he decided to continue the conversation along.
“Maybe you just got taller!” He chided.
