Mild, lovely weather and a nice clear sky...Maggotkit's out soaking up sunlight in the clearing, of course. It's been sprawled out on its back for ages, now, toasting its belly in the sunshine and occasionally twitching in response to whatever dreams occupy the little cat's mind.
Maggotkit could stay just like this for hours more if left to it, but it won't get the chance. A sizable grasshopper, surfing grass blade to grass blade, evidently misses a landing and plonks down onto the sleeping kitten's belly. Maggotkit has the reasonable reaction (jolting, twisting, and yelping in surprise) and a few moments of sleepy confusion before it spies its assailant hopping away.
No, no. That won't fly. Justice must be served.
Maggotkit chases the grasshopper around, smacking at it angrily any time it gets within reach. Take that, and that.

{ ASHFOOT }
Ashfoot stared at Maggotkit as it chased the grasshopper around the clearing. Ashfoot wondered if she should approach it.Probably not. She thought to herself sadly. Its mother would have told it that i am dangerous. But Ashfoot still watched, ignoring the sting in her disabled leg as she adjusted her position. I dont get it. Sure im disabled and an outsider. Does Windclan have to be so rude to me? Ashfoot thought as an apprentice sneered at her. She darted her gaze back to Maggotkit. Ashfoot sighed heavily. Theres no point. Windclan was never going to accept Ashfoot, disabled or not.
♡Opossumbug was sitting down on a log until he heard a little voice ask him to take them to go hunting because they didn't have an hunting training. He stopped what he was doing and turned around. He spotted the young molly, barleypaw. He could tell that she was blind by the grey in her eyes, he had never trained a young blind apprentice, so this was going to be a fun time for sure. "Of course barleypaw! We can go hunting, do you know how to hunt? I am just asking." he said in a soft tone as he looked down at the young molly.
Lightningpaw- He/Him 9 moons old no purrks Windclan Apprentice.
Lightningpaw was close enough to hear the conversation going on between the Warrior and Barleypaw. And for some reason Lightningpaw had an itch to go with the two cats. He would stand up and stretch. The orange tabby was small being no bigger looking than a 7 moon old Apprentice despite being 9 moons old. He also had a lithe build with yellow eyes and a Lightningbolt scar on his flank his Mentor Bravebird had saved him from a hawk grabbing him as a kit though he was left with this nasty scar. Lightningpaw would pad over to Barleypaw and Opossumbug. "Hey Barleypaw do you mind if I join you? I haven't been able to go out since Bravebird's been in the nursery and all." Lightningpaw would explain to the other Apprentice and Warrior. @Madelaine
Heathernose padded out of the warriors den and pushed her legs forward in a big stretch. Great StarClan that’s the spot! She shook out her pelt and stepped aside from the entrance to the den so she wouldn’t block the way. She closed her eyes against the pleasant feeling of the wind ruffling through her fur before turning to try and take care of the worst of the burrs and matts. Her fur never quite laid flat and always had a scruffiness to it, but she tried her best.
Dreamlight
Oh, dear StarClan. She could not see them but she bet the inside of her ears were bright red, they had to be with how warm underneath her pelt she grew. Her fur bristled with embarrassment as she recognized the cat's voice and then his scent a few heartbeats later. She just had to run into some cat that she knew! The she-cat ducked her head and gave her chest fur a few comforting licks. It was fine, everything was fine, she could go bury her head in a hole later. Dying of embarrassment right now would not make anything better. The scars over her eyelids were itching something fierce with the rise in body heat but she didn't dare touch them.
"Oh, uh, hello!" Dreamlight pinned her flushed ears back against her head, waiting for them to cool down. Now how to go about this without making a bigger fool of herself?
"It's been a while, it's nice to bump into you too." Dreamlight had a quip on the back of her tongue but refrained. Having to deal with Leechscar's grumpy ass, the she-cat's developed a little bit of a dry sense of humor regarding her blindness, which might be a defense mechanism by now. Whisperinghive walked himself into a few teasing comments. Yet Dreamlight was aware that not everyone had Leechscar's sense of humor and the warrior did not want Whisperinghive to pity her or worse feel bad, especially when she was merely teasing.
Her embarrassment died away and Dreamlight's ears stood straight with a delightful grin tugging at her maw. She could particularly hear the excitement in Whisperinghive's voice. Cats who wore their emotions on their fur were easier to deal with. She wasn't stuck trying to figure out if they were looking at her judgementally.
"Sure, sure, we can sit and chat if you'd like, lead the way."
@Chaosbringer [Whisperinghive]
"Oh you uh you weren't intruding I'm just not great with words." flowerpaw mewed.
(sorry for the late response I was at my moms house this weekend)

Mismatched ears perked up as Flowerpaw spoke, and an understanding nod escaped the gentle giant. He got that. By golly, he was... rather horrid with words himself. Quite abysmal, might be a better way to describe it. A fairly perplexing conundrum. He stammered at the thought of holding up his clanmates any longer than needed by speaking to them. In turn, it took him forever to convince himself to get the words out, sentences coming out in segments. Fragmented. Broken and hard to make out. Not to mention how long a simple thought took him to verbalize.
"O-oh. No. Please. N-no. Need. To. Apologize. I. Under-understand," he whispered in his usual hushed voice, shame creeping up to his ears as he lay his head down upon the floor once more, eyes closed as he let the sun's rays soak into his pelt greedily, grateful for the momentary rest in company.

Flowerpaw didn't want to disturb the silence. Then she finally spoke. "What....do y...you normallyd-do for fun"
