"so, like, what's wrong with you?" emberkit said, popping up out of the darkness of the nursery, poking her head up to stare wide eyes at the white and russet kit. "you're so quiet. and reclusive."

she didn't mean anything ill by it, really, but she hadn't really learnt how to deal with other kits. unless it was her sisters or char- and she was pretty blunt with them, too. the truth was priceless, after all.

"are you just an intay-vert? i think that's the word. do you hate people?" emberkit asked, bumbling out to where primrose was and then flopping down. "i'm mocha, but apparently my name is emberkit now. so that's cool. you seem cool. we should be friends. do you have friends?"

The quiet tripod was sitting by himself as per usual and had taken to watching the warrior den for any signs of Adderkind and sometimes glancing towards the nursery for any signs of his siblings. What he hadn’t expected was for a very loud kit that was a stranger to him to come bounding up and then questioning a lot of things all at once! Primrosekit wasn’t built for this kind of pressure and really all he wanted to do was curl up in a little ball with his paw over his ear to try and get away from messing up the questions. But that would be messing up the questions without even a single word.

“I- I uhh… hmm… Mama says I was born sick… and uh I’m missing a paw so those are some things wrong with… umm me.” He whispered out to the loud kit, much louder than he would ever be. That’s what people liked though, like they said, there was something wrong with Primrosekit and that’s why he’s quiet. Though, it wasn’t like he meant to be quiet, it just happened and he doesn’t hate people but also he just… would rather watch than be part of the group. Being a part of the group was scary. “I don’t hate people… I just- I like watching.. I’m not very good at being a person. Would you uhh rather me call you Mochakit or Emberkit? I’m Pr-Primrosekit. I don’t have friends… well besides Adderkind, but she’s a warrior. I wouldn’t mind being friends but I’m not very fun.” That’s what he’s gathered though. If he was fun the he wouldn’t be alone so often. That just made sense.
