It was a slow morning for Morningpaw, the feline hadn’t even gotten out of his nest yet even. Which while only less than a moon ago would mean nothing as Morningpaw would prefer to sleep his whole day away rather than do something but he’s been a bit more productive since his disappearance. Though without a mentor to kick him from his ear this fine morning, he decided sleeping in every once in awhile didn’t hurt. So he was curled up in a little ball, chin resting on his front paws. He wasn’t all the way asleep, he was slightly conscious of the noises around him but that was about it. Hopefully no one decided to annoy him right now.

"BOO!" Kestrelpaw yelled, all but jumping on the first, remotely-peaceful-looking apprentice she could find. Because of course, they were not allowed peace. Not when she was bored! RAAAA!!! "Wake up! Your name is Morningpaw, right? It's morning! There are ants in your nest!"

"BOO!" Kestrelpaw yelled, all but jumping on the first, remotely-peaceful-looking apprentice she could find. Because of course, they were not allowed peace. Not when she was bored! RAAAA!!! "Wake up! Your name is Morningpaw, right? It's morning! There are ants in your nest!"
Well there goes his peace and his good mood. Morningpaw let out an ungraceful oof as another apprentice decided to take it upon herself to toss herself at the nearest person. What kind of idiot wanted to earn their first scars waking the wrong clan mate! His green eyes snapped open and his gaze whittled to his attacker with a growl building in the back of his throat. The old ants in your nest, his own siblings putting spiders in his nest didn’t get him out of bed so this stranger thinking ants would was laughable. He flashed his fangs and barely resisted lashing unsheathed claws against the other’s pelt. “Warning, if you don’t get away from me in the next few moments, I’ll be giving you something much worse than ant bites.”

Hold up. Whuh..? Wha??? Out of all the stupid stunts she’s pulled so far, this is the lame one she gets berated for? That was just uncool! Blinking down at the cat she was currently sitting on (assuming by the oof that she had successfully tackled them) because he hadn’t thought to move away after her yelling about ants, Kestrelpaw sighed, put out. “Really?” She asked plaintively after a long moment. “You’re not actually gonna hurt me. Cuz like, you’re not allowed to. And anyway, nobody ever hurts me, so yeah. Are you done being angry now? I can go bother someone else.” She craned her neck, peering over at Wolfpaw as if about to follow through on her offer, whether he too was sleeping or sitting or whatever. Hey, she knew that guy! (Spoiler: all of these cats were her clanmates).
