Thorn would hiss softly. "Those Riverrats kicked me out of my barn and walked in taking over the whole thing like they owned the place. Pretty sure they emptied the barn, you were either with them or you were sleeping in the rain" she would growl.
So I left and travelled this way, "thought a bigger group of cats can teach them a thing or two about taking what's not theirs" she would growl at this cat, seems these were not much different from the riverrat clan. "let me up then, I'll try my luck elsewhere.
She would get to her paws as she was allowed and back away from the cat. She would then start to limp away, this cat knew how to fight.

Dust held Fire’s scruff tight in her jaws, slowly treading to the border of Shadowclan. She then waited patiently for someone to find her — she and the kit desperately needed help. They both had been sick for a while, but Dust was more keen on getting Fire back to healthiness.

She expected nothing less of the other looking so formidable, especially from one who lived for a long while. Plus if Springburst had to give credit for keeping stable clans in her eyes, she would have to give it to both the leader in front of her and that windclan leader. "You could say I lost my way" she trailed off, "Though think I've been lost since I had been an apprentice" she finished off. It was true, she had indeed felt more lost than when she was still within Riverclan. No matter how loyal she tried to stay and how much work she put in, she never felt like she belonged. "Right on the mark, I had been left behind due to my injuries and being unconscious, guess that shows how much I was worth in their eyes despite putting my life on the line for them over and over again" outwardly she shrugged but on the inside, she was boiling with deep-seated anger.
Guess wandering around as a loner not once but twice gave her time to stew on her thoughts and a bit more control over her temper. "Rude of me to not give my name right away but I'm Springburst, if it isn't obvious by now I'm looking to join your clan, I'd rather much put my loyalty towards a more stable clan"
Ronin perked up upon hearing a voice. "You can call me Ronin, I heard there were groups nearby and was hoping to perhaps join one. I don't feel comfortable around other lone cats or humans." He seemed to spit the word 'human' like it was venom.
Dawnstar scowled slightly after she heard the tom's name and reasoning. How boring. What the hell was a human? Outsiders had the weirdest words; she did wish they all used the same lingo so she wasn't always lost.
"So, you came here because you were uncomfortable. That's it? What do you even know about our 'groups' as you call them?" She doubted it was much.

Green eyes fixed on a massive shadow approaching her, a wave of caution pricking through Wyvern's pelt, but she forced the slowly rising fur on her neck flat and breathed in the scent. Well, it was a cat of the Shadowclan, she could tell that much, and a brief spark of something akin to recognizing flashed in her eyes as the molly looked at the emerging feline. Large, brown, carrying countless battle-marks all over their tabby pelt...
The spotted cat dripped her briefly in a greeting. "I assume you're Dawnstar then."
The golden gaze seemed immediately drawn to the pelt at Wyvern's paws, passing over the prey but hardly offering it the same intrigue. For a moment she wondered if the pelt was the sort of offering that was common here, or whether she had completely missed the mark. She was hardly concerned that what she brought was too gorey of a gift, since if she'd understood the rumours right, it was the sort of thing the Shadowclan cats would take a liking to, the concern was more so with whether something like the skull of the cat would have been preferred.
Well, it that she'd been close enough.
"Dancing around the borders seemed needlessly risky, but I made sure to seek out some information before coming here." She was rather sure that trying to explain dream-walking or whatever that thing she could do was would get her marked as someone insane and end her chances of joining then and there, so better not bring that up.
"It's a housecat," she explained. "I've been planning on joining a clan for a while now, and, especially since I'm still young-" and admittedly, not the biggest cat- "I wanted to bring something to prove I wouldn't be dead weight to the clan." The Shadowclan cat had no obligation to believe her, sure, but unless they ordered her to start hunting something right now, it was the best she could do.
"I used to train with my family and it's mainly my mother who taught me, but there is more to learn." She was not completely sure what this cat wanted to know. Wyvern could see them wanting her to just cut to the point and give the important details just as much as she would understand if they wanted to hear the whole story in detail of how she had done everything.
It irked her but at the same time appeased her that her name was already known. Considering how long she's been ShadowClan's leader she assumed some outsiders must be aware of her name by now. Still, that paranoid part of her had her wary. She didn't like to be watched, its not like much information could be obtained from simply watching at least nothing that would jeopardize her clan. Yet she couldn't shake the violent feeling that screamed threat in the back of her mind.
It taken a lot of self-control for her to ignore the impulses that urged her to spill blood and toss the body. She should at least give the cat a chance and then let go. As she was practically teased an answer for where she got her information from, like a mouse being dangled in front of her. But the cat didn't say any more on it. Dawnstar couldn't tell if the molly was hiding something what, but damn was it feeding her usually empty paranoid demon.
Dawnstar flexed her claws and tore up the ground trying to distract herself and listen to the rest of the stranger's words. Dawnstar liked the initiation and the desire to learn. It was something a few cats still carried today, the willingness to learn and grow regardless of the age. However, the leader was still wary.
"I like that some of my apprentices could use your mindset. However, I'd still like to know where you got the information." If nothing more than to set the leader's mind at ease. If she hadn't been hanging around the border, she had to have talked someone one. Who knew exactly who Dawnstar was, and that ShadowClan liked more morbid offering. "You said you had family, a mother taught you. Where is she?"
Thorn would hiss softly. "Those Riverrats kicked me out of my barn and walked in taking over the whole thing like they owned the place. Pretty sure they emptied the barn, you were either with them or you were sleeping in the rain" she would growl.

Oh! So that's what happened. Regardless, Dawnstar didn't seem interested in talking any longer. She simply watched to make sure that Thorn left her territory. When it came to the clans, it didn't matter who they were or what they were doing, they'd push and shove loners and rogues aside because they could. It sucked, but those cats to drift where every they pleased, the clans could not. She didn't feel bad for the younger cat in the slightest.

Now that was an interesting statement. This cat has been lost since she was an apprentice. Never heard anyone say that to her. But those in RiverClan were probably very lost so no surprise there. The large leader's fluffy tail coiled in and out while listening to the cat tell her tale. Considering everything that was RiverClan was dealing with, it wouldn't surprise her if they left a few cats behind, but who was she to make excuse for such a miserable clan. Dawnstar was interested in learning whether RiverClan had knowing left her behind, well they had to know she was missing, but more like saw her and deliberately left her or something else. If she took the molly in, which she didn't see a reason not to at the moment. She seemed to truly have a deep dislike of RiverClan, something that Dawnstar knew would benefit ShadowClan. "If you want stability, WindClan's not slacking on that and even ThunderClan's doing well under Bumblestar's reign. Why ShadowClan?" Both true, Twilightstar was the eldest and one of the most well-respected leaders any clan could ask for. Bumblebrat, though younger, had been leading for over four seasons now and doing pretty well aside for occasional being a pain in the ass. Comparing to RiverClan, both ThunderClan and WindClan were anything but stable.

Dust looked at Dawnstar sadly,
“Please. You don’t need to take me in, but please — take Fire. He’s just a kit, I just need you to take him. You don’t need to take me.” she pleaded.
It irked her but at the same time appeased her that her name was already known. Considering how long she's been ShadowClan's leader she assumed some outsiders must be aware of her name by now. "You said you had family, a mother taught you. Where is she?"
Wyvern
Green eyes steadily studied Dawnstar, noting the large claws kneading and tearing up the earth. Hm, alright, she supposed wanting a more thorough explanation of how exactly the information had been acquired was fair. "Many rumours go around the outskirts of Shadowclan cats who like to flay cats, led by someone named Dawnstar. Long before I knew of the clans, my mother had begun compiling them to figure out what was true and what was made up."
Now she came to that dilemma again. She didn't want to talk about her dreams if she didn't need to... but she got the feeling that Dawnstar would sense it if she kept lying, and it could jeopardise all of this more than the truth. Starting all of this by lying also felt... uncomfortable, so truth it was. "And while I couldn't be sure of their word... I've had vivid dreams of murky forests and marshland where I talked to a cat who explained things like the Darkforest and Starclan." She couldn't really do anything more than hope that she was believed.
But onto the family question. "Well, she is still alive, as far as I know. I had a father, grandfather, and two littermates until-" Her tail twitched a green eyes narrowed slightly at the memory. "until one of them went and ran their mouth, leading to a battle that became the death of her, my father, grandfather, and my other siblings disappeared. My mother is somewhere in the city now, but I haven't seen her since I left to start working on joining Shadowclan."
She was quiet for a moment, running over the events that had occurred before looking back at Dawnstar. "Anything else?"
Dawnstar scowled slightly after she heard the tom's name and reasoning. How boring. What the hell was a human? Outsiders had the weirdest words; she did wish they all used the same lingo so she wasn't always lost.
