Sharpfrost trotted ahead hopeing that the other members of the party would follow. Sharpfrost looked around finding Mallow. The pinkish purple flowers that have a deeper purple veining and white edges, with circular leaves catching her eye. She carefuly collected several leaves.

Sharpfrost looked around some, noticing her party members were still not here. She scoffed. How lazy. She looked around before noticing a small plant. It was bushy, thin stemmed plant that has three pointed, ruffled, and serrated leaves, Chevril or something. It was probably needed so she grabbed a bushel.

It padded towards a nearby plant that seemed similar and plucked some.

LionPaw bounced along behind BubbleBunny, purring. She padded off a small way, not seeming to have been paying attention on what to grab and instead picking flowers.

Hillstrider kept searching, plucking up one more tormentil as well two sprigs of comfrey. Hey, not too shabby!

Heading back to his patrolmates, Hillstrider waited for Nightshade and Hazelstripe to return. After a little while, he began to get antsy. It was getting late, and they needed to head back.

It used to be a fully sheltered emergency camp, meeting place, and hunting grounds, but when there was a Windclan raid, it was burned down and killed quite a few cats. It was named Mourning Ruins in memory of this tragic event. Any questions?" Asked Darkfire to Sunpaw.

The tall enforcer had the idea to look around the territory in the shadows (shadow fiend activated) so he would be able to check the area for clues on the murderer while not being caught by the murder himself. He was definitely not scared of the murderer, and that was genuine, not sarcasm. Assuming this cannibal (ew) wasn't the hulk, he'd be able to fight them with strategy. unfortunately nothing was found yet except for two idiots he was pretty sure was out here without permission. Maybe give them a scare. He leaped out of the shadows. Hoping that did the trick, he continued.

"Hello, do you happen to be deaf? I believe no one is supposed to be out here without permission, and I dont recall anyone giving you that. For a good reason, if you decide to walk out with a 'paw and a cannibal on the loose. In other words, I'm escorting you back to camp, idiots." He spoke. Part of him wanted to demote both of them right now, but he wasn't sure if that was the proper set of action in the older enforcers eyes. If he was said older enforcer he would kick them out of the clan for having no brain cells but alas he wanted to keep his rank.

Mistlewhisker lead Sleepysunrise and Rookfire into the territory, down the winding path and towards the Mourning Ruins. The old barn now marked the in-between for the old and new territory. Moonlit Grove had fallen to the outskirts, so for right now, the unnofficial burial place was the Mourning Ruins. Mistlewhisker paused in a section of the clearing surrounding the barn. "Here is fine." She meowed briskly, beginning to dig. Once this was done she had to go fetch Silverlark to take care of the rest of the badger's body. As much as she would have preferred to leave Silverlark in the care of Mossfreckle, she knew that if the tom was kept on nest-rest for a single moment longer he was going to implode. She couldn't have that--what would the Enforcers be without Silverlark?

Once the hole was big enough, she gestured for Sleepysunrise and Rookfire to lay Fireflypaw's body in.

She helped the pair bury her, the greenleaf heat digging its humid claws into her dark pelt. Nose twitching, Mistlewhisker turned to the other two Enforcers. "I brought both of you out here so we could go hunt for badger scents. Instead, I am going to return to camp and grab Silverlark so we can take care of the body." She needed to check up on him anyway. "Do you two think you can handle patrolling the territory just the two of you?" It was within regulations, but they were only just made warriors. "If you come across badger scents, do not engage. You come report to me, Hawkbite or Dawnstar. Understand?" She didn't need more headstrong idiots getting hurt because they refused to call for backup.

displeased with having to stand back when it came to the body, and already mentally cursing fadingsun to starclan and back, rookfire lingered close to sleepysunrise to support the other in carrying the body whenever possible. had their shoulder not been shattered, rookfire wouldve taken the first step towards the body to carry it, any kind of queasiness about death and blood had been lost somewhere between curiosity and the things she had seen in her past. the track wasnt farther than she wouldve walked for pleasure, always been one for walking and exploring, but the freshly injured shoulder and discomfort of having to stand by made it feel never ending. too late, rookfire had gotten rather bored and antsy, in addition to the pain slowly but surely making an appearance in both her expression and body language, silver eyes finally settled on the mourning ruins.
mistlewhisker seemed to want this over as reasonable, digging dark paws into the moist soil pretty much as soon as they came to a halt. rook, unsure how three legs were supposed to do digging, shuffled away from the body and instead of trying and failing to dig, assumed a guarding position, eyes on the greenery around them. the scent of clanmates hung in the air, recent enough that rookfire was almost sure there had been cats here not long ago but not present enough to potentially overwhelm any other scent marks. it appeared they were in the clear for now. every once in a while, she would ensure the others hadnt finished digging yet, and when it was time, stepped back towards the body to place it in the hole. cover it with dirt to be forgotten, no legacy, no memory, an unmarked grave.
"yes ma'am." rookfire responded with a jerk of her head, before turning to face sleepysunrise. hunting for badgers with a broken shoulder and blood soaked fur hadnt been how she wanted to spend her morning anyway.
