Sunpaw was nothing but excited to finally be back home where she belonged, she was sure that she'd never leave. One thing she wanted to do was see her siblings and parents but another part of her wanted to see everyone in camp. The ginger apprentice felt herself pacing around camp trying to make up her mind. Well, maybe she could bother a warrior to do a bit of training or something. Her parents and siblings would come to her sooner or later or maybe she would just hunt them down later herself. With the energy of a young kit, she pranced close to the warrior's den with a gleam in her eyes. "Anyone wanna take me out for a bit of training?!" what were the chances that her mama or daddy would take up her request.

Larkswoop's green eyes narrowed thoughtfully, her whiskers twitching ever so slightly. ''Whenever you go to spring, tuck your hind paws in a little closer to your belly. That will bring more power to your leap,'' The warrior explained, getting to her paws and circling Dawnpaw slowly. ''Also, whenever you swiped at the leaves, you were a little slow. In a real battle, anything less than fast will weaken you.''

The broad-shouldered feline gave a flick of an ear. ''You can turn that into an advanced move, too. Try rearing up onto your hind paws and twisting on both to advance on an imaginary enemy behind you. Whenever you can master twisting on both, then I'll show you how to twist on just one hind leg.''

''Do it like this,'' The ThunderClanner instructed, rearing back onto her hind paws. She twisted, hind legs twirling beneath her perfectly as she lashed out at the air with sheathed paws. As she did, a memory of Larkswoop's training as an apprentice filled her mind, and her deceased mentor's voice filled her ears.

No, Larkpaw! You got the move wrong. Never twist on both hind paws when you can function perfectly on one.

Larkswoop purred at Finchswoop's compliment and pressed her muzzle to his shoulder. At least some cat understood her. Some cat wanted Larkswoop for who she was.

''Finchswoop,'' The tabby began, ears flattening a bit. ''Would you still like me if...if you knew that I...I'm half RiverClan..?''

Larkswoop's voice had a tremble to it, and she was clearly scared.

Larkswoop approached Alpinepaw hesitantly, afraid of how the young apprentice would react. Bumblestar wanted her to talk to kits and apprentices? Fine.

Finchswoop was suprised at this, then confused, then amused. "Of course I don't care! You're still a sweet, lovely cat. I don't care if you are full Riverclan, and joined Thunderclan! I'd love you either way. Who cares what clan you're from? I don't!" Finchswoop nussled her and purred in her ear, "The cat who stopped being your mate because you are from another clan, or are half-blooded, is a mouse-brain to stop being your mate just because of your blood ties. I care about who you are, not where you are from."

Dawnpaw watched and tried to copy the move using one paw to turn on instead of two and used her tail to balance and swipped at the air. Being a bit quicker this time. She knew her pounce needed a little more work and would work on it thanks to Larkswoops feedback and she purs softly.

Tears stung the corners of Larkswoop's eyes, and she wrapped her plumy tail tighter around her broad-shouldered body. ''S-So you don't mind th-that my mother was a RiverClan cat at birth..?'' Her voice was soft, just barely above a whisper.

A shaky purr vibrated through Larkswoop's body as she pressed her muzzle to Finchswoop's chest fur. ''Thank you, Finchswoop. I appreciate that.''
