Glancing over at Sproutfleck, Kestrelpaw canted her head to the side. "Ummm..." Nope, she hadn't been listening to Springlight speak. It wasn't her fault the Medicine Cat was sooooo quiet and Kestrelpaw had been more intent on making sure she caught up to Sproutfleck. Eh, she could make something up. It had to be right, right? "Er, blue... blue flowers... with curly petals?" Tada! See, she was the smartest! Speaking of smartest... hurrying over, Kestrelpaw snatched up a couple cobwebs, copying her mentor's movements to gather them.

Sproutfleck, much to his own dismay, he struggled not to laugh. Small, stifled chortles emanated from his maw as the white and red brown tomcat shook his head. "Well, not... exactly. They're yellow-orange flowers." He struggled to recall Springlights exact words and his own memory from a previous herb patrol. "Okay... Not sure, but I believe they have darker stems as well.cVery, very orange yellow. Not like a dandelion." He assured her, emphasizing it's difference from dandelions. "it's pretty easy to spot the petal but with dandelions it isn't." Sproutsalot motioned to a nearby plant. It was definitely a marigold, but all the petals were curled into a tight bud. He growled in frustration before turning to his apprentice. "We can't do anything when it's just a bunch of buds. Let's keep looking around."

"Okay, Mr. Fleck!" Kestrelpaw nodded vigorously, bounding after her mentor on carefree paws, not really looking for the marigolds they needed and moreso just happy with the cobwebs in her maw. Meh, plant thingies didn't interest her that much, and Kestrelpaw was content with trailing after her mentor like a duckling.

So what he had little faith that Kesstress could stay in one piece and alive? It was better than tossing her off into the unknown where she would most certainly bonk her head a whole lot more than she would if he was there to warn her. Keeping careful watch, he eventually spotted some Marigold, but his paws were relatively full so he wasn't too sure how much he could hold. But alas, where there's a will there's away, for the warrior appeared to be a master collector of objects,, and had little difficulty grasping five springs in his maw. "Think you can carry some, Kes?" He mumbled around the plants in his maw, for there were three more sprigs of the plant and he was slightly losing his balance by hobbling on three paws from cobweb and five Marigold in his mouth. Nobody ever complimented his ability to stay balanced (His lack of tail didn't help) and he was starting to see why.

She trilled with too much stagnant energy (Kestrelpaw's moods fluctuated greatly, and very randomly) and promptly picked up two of the herbs. "TAFA!" She mumbled around the herbs stuffed in her mouth. "I DONED-ED IT!"

AlmondBay woke up with Basilkit asleep by her side. She had an adventure
planned today for them, she is going to take Basilkit to Sunkissed Creek for
her to finally see the most beautiful place of thunderclan territory. Basilkit
needed to see it before she grew up, it was what every single kit needed to
see.
AlmondBay had to work it into her to wake up basilkit, because they were
getting up early, she knew that basilkit's little stubby paws would make the
trip a long one. "Hey..honey, wake up, we are going on an adventure."
AlmondBay said as she nudged basilkit very lightly, but enough to wake the
little kit up.
Basilkit yawned, her mom said that they were going on an adventure! "Mom where are we going?" she said as she leaped around her
mother. Then she looked out of the den, she realized it was dark outside,
they must be going somewhere big!
"Honey, it's a surprise, but you will love it."AlmondBay said as she
licked her kit, basilkit's head. "now get up, it's time to go." she said
as she pushed the kit onto her feet. She was hoping they would get there to
see the sunrise as it was beautiful at the creek. "Would you like to ride on
my back honey?" she said as she walked out of the nursery with basilkit.
"Yes please!" the kit said as she climbed onto her mother's back. she
liked riding on her mom's back, her fur was so fluffy! She watched as they
passed through camp, she saw that no warriors were outside, it was quiet.
For once it was peace and quiet. "Mom, can we do this more often? It's
really peaceful and quiet." the kit said as she was rubbing her head into
her mom's fur.
AlmondBay felt her young kit rubbing their head into her fur, she liked that
basilkit loved her fur. She understood what the kit meant by peace and quiet. "Well not every night, just some nights, but trust me, it wont be peaceful
for long!" she said as she started out of the camp. This was going to be fun.
Basilkit looked at the trees as they were walking through the forest, it was
beautiful, the trees were giant! From her pov she was liking riding on
her mom's back, but she wanted to walk some to. "Mom, may I get off
your back? I wanna walk, I promise I wont walk off!" the kit said as she
climbed onto her mom's head to look her head down to look at her mom's face.
AlmondBay heard her kit's plea of walking, and she said that she wouldn't
walk off, she trusted her kit, then she felt her kit climb onto her head, then
she saw the adorable little face of her daughter. "Oh little one! I can't see
with you there!" she said as she chuckled. "And you may walk!"
she said as she lowered her head for basilkit to walk off of it like a flight of
stairs, she laughed as she thought of that. She was some stairs for basilkit!
Basilkit started walking beside her mother, she was having fun, she saw some
twigs to play with so she grabbed one to bring with her, she was going to have
something to play with on this journey, heck she might even bring it home with
her! She wanted the twig as a memory. From this trip with her lovely mother! "May I keep this twig to take home as a memory?" she said as she was
holding the twig in her mouth, she liked this twig, it was a perfect play twig!
AlmondBay looked over at Basilkit because she heard her mess with something
on the ground, turns out it was a twig. What's that, the kit had said that she
wanted to keep the twig for a memory? Damn, she wished that she was that
smart as a kit. "Sure honey. It's a great thing to get stuff for memories,
now little one, it makes the memory last forever." she said as she stopped
to rest and licked basilkit's forehead. "Let's rest here for a minute ok? It's
tiring for mommy to keep walking this long!" she said with a chuckle.
Basilkit understood that her mother had to rest, she wanted to rest to. She sat
down beside her mother, it seemed like years when they were resting, it was
not fun, basilkit wanted to keep going. "momm! can we go now!" the kit
said as she got up.
Almondbay wanted to get up to, she wanted to get there before anyone else
did because she knows some cats who wake up every morning to come here. "sure, but for this part, stay on my back!" she said to the little kit,
basilkit. She needed basilkit to stay on her back, she got a little nervous
when basilkit was walking by herself.
Basilkit wanted to walk, but she could tell something was off when her mom
would let her walk, she didn't want her mom to be an upset mom! She wanted
a happy mommy! Atleast- that's what she thinks in that little mind of hers. "Sure! Can you carry me the whole way?" the kit said as she climbed
onto her mother's back.
Almondbay liked the thought of her kitten wanting to stay on her back the
whole way there, so she started walking fast to the creek, she knew some
cats were there already sadly, but it's ok, you gotta share stuff that ain't yours
with other cats. as she began to walk fast, she spotted the creek, then she
walked onto the sand of the creek. "Here we are!" she said as she
grabbed basilkit from her back and sat her down on the sand. She licked
her kit's head before giving her a nudge to show her that she could run and
play around. "Make sure when your playing you don't run into any cats,
especially with that twig in your mouth!" she said as the kit bounded
off.
Basilkit watched the sunrise with her mother until she slowly fell asleep.

Sprouts-a-lot glanced over at Kestrelpaw as she hopped like a rabbit toward him and the flowering golden orange flowers. "Great job." He purred, subconsciously indulging her. With an approving nod, he flicked his tail toward the direction they'd come. "Right, kiddo, let's head back." He grunted around a mouthful mouthful marigolds. Turning, The Spotted red-brown and white tom began the trip back toward Thunderclan camp.
