Wildkit caught Shadekit out of the corner of her eye. she walked over to the kit " Hi I'm Wildkit! Want to be friends you look like you need company. Wait are you shy I am too sometimes. If you want we can go to my corner and talk."

Shadekit blinked, looking at the kit that was suddenly next to her. What- She was aware that the kit had started talking, but instead of answering she stared at Wildkit. Company...? She thinks I look lonely? She just appeared out of nowhere... Does this kit actually want to talk to her? It seemed that way. She was thinking about this when she mewed abruptly, "Why?"

"What do you mean? Did I offend you...sorry...i didn't...mean to sor.. wait I already said that... You know what ill just let you be if that's what you want?" Wildkit walked over to her corner, then looked at the kit, and then started grooming herself. Then a bunch of thoughts filled her head.

Shadekit stared at the kit in bewilderment. What just happened? She reviewed it in her mind, rapidly puzzling over it and piecing it together. This kit came over to me and asked if I wanted to talk, and be friends... She said she was shy, too... Oh! Shadekit has experience in being shy, and my response... I asked why and she responded with "did I offend you" and sorry and "I'll let you be if that's what you want"... Is she feeling hurt? or insecure? Why? She asked what I meant, she remembered suddenly. She blinked. She hesitantly opened her mouth to call out to Wildkit, then said, "Um..." she trailed away, trying to explain. What do I mean by why? Her mind suddenly went blank. "Uh. What's your name?" She blurted out. Nice save, she thought sarcastically. Ugh. I am terrible at this.

" Um... my name... I.. is um... Wildkit.. What's..yours sorry for stuttering I'm just nervous." Wildkit mewed as her anxiety went through her head painfully. @SnowheartTC

Wormkit nodded "I'll go easy on you don't worry!" He said with a laugh, playfully sticking his tongue out as he turned to face her "I've got tons of practice! that's how i got this!" it said, pointing to it's torn ear with his paw "got into a playfight with a bigger kit when i was younger, he ended up tearin' off half my ear!" He chuckled, it's tail tip twitching behind it as it got into position. The black and white tom crouched before creeping forwards, waiting for her to make a move.

◆◇ Honeybite: The Devil, Reversed

Honeybite grabs the last crow on the preypile and trots to the nursery.
Truthfully, they'd been meaning to talk to Nightshiver since the move. They had no excuse this time around, just the lack of motivation to get up and do it.
It was only partially because they knew the noise of the kittens would irritate them. And they knew they had to get over it.
The forever queen put up with it all the time, and if they wanted to befriend Nightshiver, they'd have to learn to get over it.
It was easier said than done, but they were at last putting that effort in.

The cream warrior poked their head in, half masked face twisting and turning as they looked for that dark pelt.
After a moment, they spotted her. Crow in jaw, they moved in her direction, feathered fiend swaying from where it dangled.
Upon reaching the queen, they set the prey down.
"Nightshiver. I was wondering if you'd be free to sit down and talk."
Honeybite presented the bird.
"I wasn't sure what you preferred, so I grabbed what was closest."
They hoped it wasn't actually her least favourite. They'd feel quite dumb if that was the case.

Mintkit woke with a smile on her fluffy face. She woke and bounded around in a little circle, looking bright. “Anyone want to do some training or games with me?” she asked. “I’m bored!”
