Thrushkit pounced at Lionflop playfully.

"I was looking for you!!"

He squeaked happily. Despite how scary the warrior might've seemed to Thrush when they'd first met, he considered Lionflop one of his closest buddies!

"Who are you?"

He finally felt the courage to speak to the other warrior. Thrushkit only really knew Lionflop, simply because he'd taught him how to well... flop! Not that Thrushkit's flop was all that impressive. It was like watching an acorn fall from a tree.

"Of course Lionflop was hunting... he's so cool!"

He smiled widely at the warrior he respected so much. what if he wasn't what Thrush thought he was...? He shook his head and directed it back at the other kits who now looked to be having a conversation. Thrushkit hopped over to them, nervously, smiling cautiously.

"Hi... I'm Thrushkit!"

He said it rather quietly, fur bristling as he got closer to both cats. Huh. How weird!

Mosquitokit's big, droopy ears twitch. What's she talking about? He peers at her face, at the odd way her muzzle's all twisted up. Initially he just assumes she's just grimacing over the perceived unpleasantness of this situation; he can't tell that there's something permanently up with her.

"Whaddya mean judge you? Y'r not a monster. You're a kit." He insists gently, trying not to stress. "A really little kit. I don't know if you're s'posed to be outta the nursery yet...so I think y—"

He breaks to finally pay some mind to the older cats. Things don't appear to have gotten any worse but there's still a weird vibe about the place. The she-cat warrior seems none too pleased. Back to Snarlingkit, he continues: "Uh, you should prob'ly have some older cats around you."

Thrushkit, Firepelt, and Lionflop are greeted soon with a quick and awkward, "um hello!" He gets a little more direct as Thrushkit comes closer, offering his most practiced and polite little smile. He's nervous. Is there something weird about this situation, he wonders, or is he just thinking too hard about stuff again?

"I'm, uh. I'm Mosquitokit." He continues, gesturing to the younger kitten with him. "And she's...er, who are you?"

Some Cats - Like Myself - Have Gotten The Scratch Treatment. He Turns To ThrushKit Again, Then Looks To The Other Two.

She sat down next to the kit and asked, Where's your mother? Snarlingkit looks far too young to be without her mom. Is Lionflop kitsitting you now? Firepelt said slightly purring.

She asked, glancing at the kit's perma-snarl. I can't let this kit get hurt! she's so tiny! Firepelt thought, peering at Lionflop. Strange, I feel amazed by him, happy near him, yet I won't let him near the kits. What's wrong with me?
