cobwebpaw sucked in a small gasp and smiled at dusklion, then pushed off the ground and stood up. she walked forward and grinned. here it was. the first moment of the rest of her goddamn life. she considered this, thinking about the events leading up to now.

Redwater smiled softly. “Hunting; fishing, stuff like that, fighting, and swimming. Assuming there are rivers here…” the barren landscape didn’t seem like a good, marshy place for fishing and swim lessons. “You’ll be great.”
Caveclaw listened.
It would take a little bit to adjust to this new territory, but she was sure she would be fine.
Especially after their leg fully healed.

So new reassignments and apprentices? Alright, not much [he wasn't gonna talk about the deaths that some of his former clanmates caused]. Maybe one day he could prove himself enough to mentor one of the fishes himself. Oh, and new warriors in the clan too! This was exciting, watching his new clanmates become warriors. Russethowl stood tall, green eyes gleaming with joy for his younger clanmates.

Here it is; her last few moments as a 'paw, the last few moments of what has been the most important part of her life to date. To say it comes with a mixed bag of emotions is an understatement, and Wrenpaw cannot even begin to name what all of them are, but there are a select few she can pinpoint: pride, satisfaction, gratitude. She'd done it. She'd done it. And she did so on her own for the most part.
As the silver feline stands, putting no weight on her recently righted broken wrist as she makes her way to the front of the crowd, her eyes shine. She's finally here. It's her moment (though she has to share it with four other cats, but that's besides the point), and, vaguely, Wren wonders what comes next for her. What's her goal after this? For the longest time, the goal post ahead of her had only been two things; beat ThunderClan up, and become a warrior. Although the notion about ThunderClan is free to remain (and it very likely will), what's taking place of earning her warrior name?
Now, though, she supposes her next goal should be to return home. But after that? What then? She used to dream of being a Lionheart, convinced that that might give her some sway, but she's not sure anymore. It's something to think about...

Why did his mind say that? He had not a clue. Maybe its just the headaches. Yup, totally the headaches 100% there was no way he had a crush on fluffs. But he wasn't going to say that aloud at all. Nope. Not after what happened with... nope. Not gonna remember her. No siree. Not right now.
Antlerbranch jolted back to reality once he realized he was staring at the pretty she-cat. "I-Uh... Yeah. Friends," he purred warmly, partly listening to his leader. New apprentices? Alright, that sounded nice. "I think you would make a nice mentor," he blurted out, shuffling his paws. Stars, why was he so awkward around her???
"I- Are you okay, Fluffs? You seem off. You didn't get hurt during the raid, did you?" he asked, green eyes glowing with worry. Oh stars, he didn't ignore the fact that the pretty molly got hurt, right????
A merry purr rumbling out of her throat as Antlerbranch confirmed that they were friends, Wisteriawren attempted to bonk her head against the fluffy tom's shoulder lightly. "I don't think I'd make a good mentor." She giggled softly. "I know almost nothing right now. You did your apprentice training though, right? I bet you'd make a good mentor."
Speaking of mentors... "Huh?" She was slightly distracted as Antlerbranch asked his question on whether she was okay or not. Her only reply was to thump her tail lightly against his as she shuffled closer to him to peer over the crowd of cats. "Cobwebpaw is getting her warrior name?!" She gasped softly, eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yay Cobwebpaw!" Whoops. The other cats too. "And Adderpaw and Sunsetpaw and Wrenpaw and Willowpaw. . ." The molly trailed off. Em, why wasn't anyone else cheering? Had she been too hasty?
