Mars tilted his head. "Well whatda
wanna know about me?" They asked. He'd rather have an idea of what they wanted to know about him instead of just rambling.
He noticed how the den still seemed lighter even though it was darker outside. He looked down at the rabbit in between his front paws and felt a flash of embarrassment. It was a stupid toy from when he was a kit that he carried around. He pushed the thoughts out of his mind and looked back up at Pondfreckle and smiled.

Pondfreckle looked at mars like he had just asked
the worst question of all time, though, that was just
her thinking face. She had a weird thinking face. She
always wondered why she had to look people in the eye
when she was thinking, it was a weird trait of her's that
she just couldn't let go of or control! It was apart of her.

She was staring for to long, she probably looked like a freak!
She didn't want her reputation ruined just by something she
couldn't control, I mean she cant even control her own ass
if she even tried! I mean she was a freak as a kit, but that's
not the point! She needed to stop thinking and tell mars
what she wants to know!

"Well anything ur comfortable with telling a cat like me
that you just met that would've kicked ur ass if you didnt
say anything." Well PondFreckle said to much, much
more than she was planning on.

Mars chuckled, and thought for a moment. "Well, my names Mars...as you already know. I'm really not that interesting, or, maybe I am, but–"They cut themself off, feeling like he was on the verge of rambling.

He shook his head slightly, and grinned at Pondfreckle. "Why don't you tell me about you?" He purred,barely resisting the urge to add a please at the end of that sentence. They didn't enjoy talking about themself, he didn't have much to say.

Tired of it

Pondfreckle stood there for a moment, she knew his name was mars,
she wanted to know something new. But she got all that she was g-
oing to get. It was a hard thing for her to accept, she knew mars didnt
trust her enough yet, she was slowly getting his trust, its just going to
be a slow burn, at least that's what she thinks, sometimes her thoughts
aren't right, but not everyone's is, right? Anyways she needed to think
about something to tell him about her.

"Well, I was born in a forest, and we were going to go and move spots
so we had to cross a river, we were crossing, our mom was behind us, and
this rush of water came, and u-um me, my mom, and my brother and sister
were underwater, my mom saved me first, then she went back into the water
and another big rush came, and all I saw a few minutes later was their limp
bodies." she said with tears rolling down her face. "And I was like
6 moons then, and I'm 17 moons, and I'm still healing." She said crying.
