The ferret blinked open his eyes. A dancing monster had drove into the distance, growling slightly, and he realized his cage had fallen from the monsters' back. back. The air was sweeter around him, leaves slowly falling to the ground along the light breeze. His fur was ruffled from the fall- at least he was free from the grip of that.. place. He shook himself, realizing he was probably free now. But... He knocked himself into the side of the small cage, the still very well locked door shutting Ferret rudely out. Now he realized why he was here, and the world seemed to become darker around him. He realized anyone and anything could be out there, waiting to catch him and eat him.. So he decided to not struggle.
He sat in the cage as the air grew cold and the sun dipped its weary head back below the hills and trees, his tail pacing. Ferret had tried calling out, squeaking.. but nobody heard him. He felt shivers up his spine as he smelled the pungent smell of carrion and twoleg garbage. His ears flattened at the thought; maybe he had been dropped off at a separate place, maybe that treats animals even worse? But yet, no scent of humans. He lost hope, and his head hung as the darkening sky lit up to stars. He flicked his ear, staring up at the sky he would probably never see again, unless he broke free. He k ew this, but decided to rest for the night. Maybe a kind twoleg will show up and fnd him...

Mocha kinda got sidetracked by the small animal, and went over to it. "Can you talk?" she asked it, her tortoiseshell fur gleaming, and her brown eyes shining in interest.

Sandy had wandered further into the Scrapyard and was dragging pieces of scrap that might make good shelter over closer to the entry. She had never built a shelter before ... She also noticed that Mocha seemed to speaking to someone else. Or maybe someones? Ooo, Sandy loved having new friends!

The collie paused and looked around. Had Apollo gone to search the scrapyard too? She hoped he could find some food, like maybe a turkey ... Sandy wagged her tail at the thought of food but continued wondering how to build a fit shelter.
