duck dropped salamander, she looked at her surprisingly. she thought to herself that maybe this is her chance to make a friend, starclan brought salamander to her for a friend! her life wasn't going to be depressing after all!
duck kit heads for salamander and pins her down on her back, she playfully hits her on the eye, she taps her on the side with her paw hardly, she was so hyped up to finally show someone that she could really fight!
duck jumped up off of salamander and went to find a big ball of moss, she found one and pushed it back between her and salamander.
"I got this for you! I saw you playing with one earlier! By the way, wanna be friends? I know a lot of cool games that we can play! We can be friends forever! You will be my first friend ever! Ain't that exciting? We can go to the elders together to hear stories about the past! We can become the best riverclan warriors anyone has ever seen!"
Salamanderkit is over the moon, even more so to discover that—to her limited understanding, anyhow—Duckkit is a WORTHY ADVERSARY. She battles back some, soft and harmless thumps here and there, but to Salamanderkit it feels like she's sparring another vicious killer in legendary combat.
Good stuff.
She's panting like a dog when Duckkit peels away; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Her stamina is nonexistent. Salamanderkit wobbles to her paws, peering inquisitively after Duckkit.
"...for ME? OH....." Oh, she can't even think of the words. This is fantastic. Battle practice and a gift on top. "YES, yesyesyes we're friends now. My name is Sala-MANDERkit," she struggles with the enunciation on her own name, "and I'm already gonna be the best ever warrior so it's a good thing you wanna be one, too. We gotta fight every day now okay? Every day. One day—Dusklion said this!—one day Windclan is gonna come here, and, and then they'll gut our guts," she rattles off very seriously. "Except they won't gut ours because we're gonna practice okay? Do you think the elders can help us practice? I like it when they tell fighting-stories...does teling fighting-stories mean you know how to fight really good?" She's scheming. She's planning. But then—
Duck looked at salamander, amazed that she has a new friend now, she looks at the young kit wordless, everyone looked at duck weirdly, but salamander didn't. She was different than all the others, she wanted to be friends with her, she wanted to play with her.
"You actually want to be friends with ME? B-but everyone looks at me weirdly. wait, I think a evacuation is gonna be called, um we will focus on our Convo later lets um yk just hang around!
(Oh, when I read it I thought it meant it was in the side of the mountain. Sorry)
Willowtail blinked, her eyes tired as she gave a gentle murmur of confusion. Sitting down Willowtail blinked, "Oh... well I meant it was crumbly.... y'know like extra little rocks and stuff in there." She murmured, but look at the piles I made, I cleaned it out..... except for the front part, I didn't get there yet." Willowtail mewed, and looked at the entrance. "It... when you walk in it looks a bit darker.... sorry Dusk..." The she-cat murmured sheepishly, looking down. Had she disappointed Dusklion? Dang it.....
Dusklion - RiverClan Deputy
Looking over her shoulder, the deputy shook her head. "Tails, you're fine. 'M not mad or upset or... anythin' like that. Here, instead of restin'... can you go find some leaves 'n moss so we can pad the floorin' for when the kits get here? 'M sure they'd like somethin' soft to run on." Her blue eyes shone with appreciation before turning back to the nursery.
Tails had made a good start, so the deputy just went around sweeping the rest of the debris up. She could see what her friend had meant by "crumbling"; some rubble lay at the base of the wall. Dusklion made sure to scoop that up with her tail, too. The ground wasn't as rocky in the nursery, and hopefully once it was padded down with moss and maybe some feathers, it would be the perfect nursery.
Finishing up with sweeping the den out and taking all of the "crumbly" pieces in piles, the deputy waited for Tails to return with the moss.
[ @ChromeSilver_Hwaa - you're all good no worries! dusk isn't mad or upset at all ^^ ]

(thank you lots <3 )
Willowtail gave a gentle nod, going off to find some leaves, she also found some neighboring moss along a stump, it wasn't a lot but it was enough for a bit of flooring. Bringing back her new items she spotted the progress Dusklion had made, "Wow" She mewed gently after placing her items down.
Strutting over to the nursery with an awkward gate, Brokenstream hunkered down so Duskit could clamber off of him. ”Alright, Duskkit! Here’s your stop.” He mewed. ”I’ll be sure to come back and play later, okay?” He promised, gently flicking the kits ears with his tail in a friendly farewell.
Floodsight ✦ RiverClan | 22 moons | Mind Reader ; Beefed Up T1 ; empty slot
It's wasn't much, but it was something. The silver molly had a couple of clumps of moss in her mouth as she delivered them into the nursery. The new nursery. It was sort of blank, but it was a secured place that fell between the warriors and apprentice dens. It made sense to get started on padding up more of the nursery as soon as possible. But as she padded in, Floodsight had come to realise that majority of the den was already cleaned and patched up. That's fine. She only have a small addition of moss to add to the already padded flooring. Whoever was working on it seemed to have cover most of it already, so Floodsight just spread the moss she found amongst the rest.
It's been a while since she made visits to the nursery, and it got even sparingly ever since she's gotten an apprentice. Training Aspenpaw certainly changed her views on these little furballs. Cute now, but a wild bunch when they're all grown, and that thought brought a chuckle to her face. A happy sigh of defeat.
’With all the hectic news going around lately, I should probably check on the kits and make sure everything is in order.’
The bengal tom picked his way down the small slope towards the nursery, ears pricked for any sound of distress. Thankfully, he heard none as he approached. Brokenstream pushed his way through the entrance of the den, eyes blinking as he adjusted to the light. There was at least one kit in particular he was here to see, seeing as he had promised her he would in fact return to play.
”Duskkit!” He called out, half expecting a bundle of fur to come flying at him. ”Are you in here?” His whiskers twitched. She better be. As cute as she was, she seemed like the type to get into trouble if it meant a good adventure.
Duskkit was messing with the moss in the den, and it was a little bit of a mess now.
And then!
Familiar voice!
She turned her head so fast one could consider whiplash, and spotted Mr Stream!
Yes yes yes!
The kit quickly ran over in front of him. "Yes! Super in here!" She announced "Took ya' long enough!"
The shredded moss was a dead give away of her impatience.
