She gave a short nod to Dawnpaw's reply. "That's good." Curiosity, as long as it didn't go overboard to become nosiness, was a train Hawkcatcher generally saw in a positive light, at least if it led to cats being more eager to learn. But now for the last landmark.

It took a bit to walk there again since this was closer to the camp and Haggard Ruins was near the outskirts, but she wanted to end with this area. "This is Willow's Rise." She motioned to the weeping willow in the middle of the meadow. "Those marks carved into the trunk were for them for passed in a large fire that happened a rather long time ago now. They have been vandalized, but were restored when this became a burial sight. It also used to be named the Weeping Tree, but was renamed two years ago in the middle of summer, when Cinderstar was still leader."

"It's a good hunting place with a lot of prey, but since it's also a burial site, be respectful about it." Here she'd allow Dawnpaw to look around as she pleased since this was one of the safest places in the territory. "Well that is all for our tour, do yo have any questions?"

Dawnpaw looks around smiling at hawkcatcher. And now they are at the Weeping tree. She looked around smiling and nodded. This was a beautiful place. With it being a burial ground she was respectful and looked around in silence sniffing n knowing the smells of this location as well. "How long ago was this a burial place n is it still to this day? Are the past leaders buried here?" She was curious but trying not to be too nosey at the same time.

And yes, as far as I'm aware no deceased leader's body was buried anywhere else." There wouldn't have been any reason to. Of course, there were former leaders like Aspenstar who had left, and... "Well many of our leaders have gone missing instead of passing, so we haven't found their bodies."

"Oh no that can't be good hopefully that cycle gets broken." Dawnpaw mews looking at her mentor. She looked forward to making her mentor around and becoming a leader. She really wanted to make that dream happen. She was glad that hawkcatcher was her mentor.

"I hope one day I get to become leader of thunder clan." She purs and looks at hawkcatcher "I hope I can make you proud.'' she mews ready to go whenever hawkcatcher was

Having finished the tour now, Hawkcatcher turned to head back to camp, nodding slightly to Dawnpaw's remark. She wasn't too worried about that right now, since Bumblestar did seem intent on sticking around for now. Which was a relief - with Thunderclan's record it would be good to keep the same leader for a while longer.

A tattered ear angled towards her apprentice, and Hawkcatcher cocked her head a bit. Become leader? Dawnpaw seemed mild-mannered but apparently was alone a cut more ambitious than her usual trainees. Then again, cats her age tended to have big dreams that they later grew out of. Still, Hawkcatcher would never be one to discourage her apprentices from setting high goals. "Well, focusing on your training and taking care of your duties is a good step towards that." Still there was one more thing to add. "I applaud setting future goals, Dawnpaw, but do remember to do it for yourself, not to make anyone else proud." With that, they slipped back into camp, and Dawnpaw's first ever trop outside camp was completed.

Dawnpaw smiled and noddded. "Agreed I wil do the best I can do. I really wanna show everyone the best that I can be." Dawnpaw follows behind her mentor purring and had enjoyed her outing she loved it very much and was excited about the next bit of training she could do

The battle was over and she was all healed, but it had reminded the warrior that she should continue with Dawnpaw's training, and she was low leading her apprentice to a good, somehow open place in the forest. A few of her own mentors had trained her here, and even though they were hardly worth mentioning, it was a suitable place for battle practice and it was far from he first time she had taken her apprentices here.

"Alright, we'll start with the basics, and then focus on advanced offence and defence, and so on later. The first move anyone ever learns is just the basic swipe. You should use your front paw to slash your enemy. If you grow to have very strong legs or large paws it will aid you, but you should rely on the motion of your strike rather than pure strength, and aim so that your claws wont snag and get you stuck, as you should instead try to slash cleanly across." Taking her own advice, she aimed a strong, straight swipe over a tree trunk, before gesturing to Dawnpaw to try it herself.

Sorry for the wait, almost forgot I start this again!

Dawnpaw padded to the tree and tried to swipe at it with her right forepaw and she felt herself start to lose a little balance but she quickly used her tail to correct it. looking at Hawkcatcher she tries again and does a bit better this time.

She studied Dawnpaw's stance and form closely as the apprentice practised, nodding shortly when they turned back to her. "Yes, remember to use your tail for balance. We'll move on to tackling now to keep things going, but you can always practise in your free time, which I would encourage you to do."

"When tackling someone you should use either the weight and momentum of your body to topple them, but for now, when you're still smaller and lighter then most other cats, you use another tactic to make them trip. A swipe at my leg," she gave her apprentice time to do so before continuing "see how sturdy it is when I'm standing like this, you would have to use a lot of force to manage to make me stumble, but if you instead aim a string blow here" she signalled to the middle of her leg, just where her knees bent "It will be harder to stay upright. You can also try and swipe someone's paw out from under them - either inwards which more often causes a stumble of them falling on their flank, or outwards which makes them fall on their stomach. Try on me." She was a bit too sturdy an large for a young apprentice push over, but she could act as a target at least.

You have PP permission to land hits on Hawk since she is standing still (as long as now claws are used)

Dawnpaw nodes and uses her tail to balance. Next was trying to knock her mentor over now she listened carefully to hawkcatcher and swiped quickly behind hawks for front leg making her lean a little bit not tople her over. Dawn tried again with more momentum n hit the bend in hawks leg making a hook like look with her paw and pulling swiftly with the moment um she had. Hoping it was enough which it was hawk fell over which made dawn a little happy. Hawk has fallen on her flank once she stood up again dawnpaw tried to figure out how to get Hawkcatcher to land on her stomach. She the tried taking out hawks back legs to see if that would work.
