her ears perked when she heard she could help "help with what?" she mewed, her tail waving back and forth as she looked around the evacuating camp. "I can always check the other dens, I can help mossfreakle!" she looked realived when she heard she could help, "please, I may have no mentor but I'm clearly a warrior at heart." she smiled as she dipped her head. "never mind the last part, what can I do to help?" she meowed softly.
Sharpfrost turned around. "Huh? Oh! My apologies. I was asleep when Dawn came back so I hadn't fully heard what she said." She put the little one down. "Do you still want me to help with the kits? I would understand if you wouldn't."
Honeybite looked back to Rosekit, Flamekit, and Honeykit. She went out of her way to wrangle those furballs, and the last thing she wanted was for them in particular to be threatened. They all seemed to be safe and at Nightshiver's side, so she turned her attention back to Sharpfrost.
She glowered, searching for any signs of dishonesty, but found there to be none. Her posture became marginally less threatening. "You will have to ask Nightshiver, not me. She's the one in charge of this makeshift group, I'm just her little minion for the foreseeable future."
It seemed miss Queenie herself was saying just as much, and that she could help walk the kits to the Mourning Ruins. The warrior dips her head, acknowledging her decree.
She would still keep an eye out, just to err to the side of caution. She'd rather hurt some feelings than risk one of the youth going missing. She could always apologize to her Clanmate later.

While I do not (currently) have any cats in the Clan's, I try to have at least a few role plays with my outsiders (Sedgestorm, Woollyfeather) and my StarClanner Coldamber. Most of my role plays until I feel well enough to keep up with sweeps will be related to Covenant of the Sky duties.

Gutspaw dipped their head in acknowledgement of Russetpaw. Well, it supposed backup was fine. Grateful for it even considering Mothcloud seemed like she needed it. Strangely enough, the queen didn't seem to pay Gutspaw any mind. As if it it hadn't just tried to pick up her nest. She did stare silently at Russetpaw however which sent a cold shiver down teeth's spine. Mothers. Terrifying & unknown.
And then, Yellowtwist appeared and offered help which, fine more's the merrier it guessed - Mothcloud was having trouble to walk. She could have support on both sides. The tabby was having to begin to wonder if it was being purposefully ignored though since she even acknowledged - verbally - Yellowtwist! Its ear twitched in annoyance, switching the weight between its paws as it tried to wait patiently. And patiently. Expecting for them to begin to make a move on. And - and then Dawnstar assigned Goopywhisker to watch over Mothcloud and yipee do, there he appeared.
And now there were suddenly wayyy too many cats around it. Seriously, Mothcloud had four cats trying to help her and Gutspaw had no idea ShadowClan could be so hospitable. Two cats would've been fine, really in teeth's opinion but here they were. It shuffled a few pawsteps back, tail curling up neatly against bite's hindleg. Beginning to regret trying to help. Seemed like it wasn't very needed. Too in it to back out now.
"Russetpaw, help me carry her nest. Goopywhisker and Yellowtwist can help her walk, " It barked, hoping dividing the tasks would organize this er, supportive attempt. And maybe start to move because they were supposed to be near Mistlewhisker. (At least according to Slytiger.)

Russetpaw nodded to Gutspaw, helping it pick up the nest as they also waited to start moving. There were a lot of cats near Mothcloud. They could understand it, though. It made sense a good few cats would want to help a pregnant queen who was close to kitting.
Cougarbite smiled back at his mother figured. He'd explain who she was one day to Falconkit, now was just not the time.

❦ Diligent white tipped paws quickly retreated to the belly of his den which in as it seemed was no longer his den… or wouldn’t be soon… the piles of the stockade were meticulously plucked from as he began to make leaf bundled for those who had been beckoned by his calls - some he knew and some he did not know too well but at the end of the day he was pleased to see the clan pulled out of their lackadaisical ways as necessity and fear of what was to come pulled them from their slumber and set a fire beneath their paws. There was so many bundles stacked within his den, so many precious herbs still lingering in their organised piles, Mossfreckle had long sense come to terms with the fact that he was unable to save the entire stockade but at the end of the day that didn’t stop the claws of insecurity from raking bitterly down his tattered heart… their hard work was going to be in vain… part of him wondered what Lostspark thought - she was proud of him and he knew that, she was not silently disappointed that he could not take the entire stockade but he was disappointed in himself.
❦ Padding from the belly of the den to the sandy stone mouth of the medicine cats den, the lanky, freckled herbalist was met with a bustling crowd of able and willing felines - he went down the row of gathered ark kits - well, apprentices now - first handing them their bundles before greeting them with a gentle lick between their ears, Little Flame,” { @Neptune. } he purred as he handed Cinderpaw her bundle of two lady’s mantle and three catmint, pulling Birdpaw { @Mica } in for a big cuddle the medicine cat let her go and pushed a bundle of three elder flowers and two mushrooms, ”My little birdie princess, thank you for coming to help, you and Cinderpaw stick together with your siblings, okay?” mossy hues moved onto Wispypaw { @Eden } , Hi, little shadow, I have not seen you in a while. You will be taking this bundle, it has three dandelions and two daises,” the last ark kitto that stood before him was Sleepypaw { @Estelle } , Mossfreckle passed her her eclectic bundle of two chickweed, two celandine, and one mushroom before he pulled her into a brief hug, ”I am sorry I didn’t respond earlier little star, there was a lot going on but I should have stopped for a moment, Thank you for still coming to help.”
❦ The freckled herbalist rose and his lanky form dipped into the dark depths of the den for a moment to grab the next lot of meticulously leaf bundled herbs, Silkpaw { @Abyssopelagic }, Dizzycloud { @Aolani }, Silvertrot { @Bean }, Grousepaw { @redshiftreign }, Hazelstripe { @Dark }, Butterflyspark { @starry }, Palesong { @/starry } - Thank you all for helping, you can take these bundles,” he meowed as he passed out the leaf bundled to the awaiting felines before mossy hues flitted in minor annoyance to Silverpaw { @glitch }, ”I told you to make yourself useful elsewhere but so be, at least you are trying to be useful, you can take this bundle,” h the medicine cat did not trust the apprentice, he was not thrilled that the feline had disobeyed authority not once but twice today, so be it, any set of paws was welcome in the end. Mossy hues lightened as they took in the tippy tappy kittos that had bounded up to him, Hello little ones { @/Eden // @/Bean }, did you want to be a big kitty and help,” the herbalist purred as he gave a amicable nod to Honeybite { @/Abyssopelagic } who had come to gather up the escapees for Nightshiver, I think Honeybite has come to gather you to two up, but can you take these for me? each kit received three balls of tightly bundled moss before he gave them a gentle nudge in their caretakers direction, thank you, he mouthed to Honeybite before he turned to the remaining cats that stood before him.
❦ ”Thank you, Lostapark,” { @Rose } the freckled tom allowed the words to slip from his white maw and he moved forward to touch his former mentors nose with his own freckled nose, a small movement of filial affection - of trust - before he passed her a bundle of two burnet and three burdock root, some of his bundles where odd… yes… but he had managed to get at least one of every herb in a bubble and on its way to the new camp - he had, however, left the poisons, if need be he would send the lithe grey molly before him of another enforcer out to gather such. Mossy hues settled on the silverly white splotched tom who has made his way - a little frantically - to the medicine cats side, a gentle white tipped paw reached towards Fogwatcher { @SuspiciousMindz } and pulled pretty the pretty feline close to him, Mossfreckle’s angular head rested gingerly and cautiously on the toms soft pelted shoulder, ”I have a bundle for you, but… can you… can you please stay with me,” the moment was fleeting before the toms masked snapped back in place and the anxiety of the situation once more began to prickle down his pelt at the chaos insuing before him as his dream still played on repeats between the confines of his mind - he was scared and he would never admit that but he was… so many changes… so little time… for some reason the soft tom that now stood beside the lanky herbalist made him feel safe and he sent a silent prayer to Starclan for sending the silvery form to him when he needed Fogwatcher the most.
❦ Oriental shaped ears perked as Mossfreckle took in the sight of a feigning cat within the peripherals of his mossy gaze, still leaning nonchalantly against Fogwatcher - we couldn’t have the tom knowing mossy fancied him, now could we - Shadowclan’s medicine cat called to Kestralpaw { @Hound } who had began to escort a slightly apprehensive Bristlethorn { @Rowan // please submit a healing request form if needed, if she is actually okay feel free to have her tell Moss she is just light headed, etcetera } to the medicine cats den, ”Is something the matter, how can I help?” the freckled herbalist asked professionally as soon as the feline where close enough for him to begin his silent once over medical assessment, ”Do you need to rest for a bit, Bristlethorn?”
Flashpaw exited the apprentice's den, green hues surveying the area around her with
Watchful ebony pupils. Thick ginger striped tail swished to and fro as she listened to her
Dark tabby leader speak unexpected words. They were… leaving. Such words had never
met the medium-furred feline's ears. She made quick note of reactions around her before
Bringing a pale ginger paw forward. After slow, uncertain steps, she made her way forward
toward the crowd, facial cues showing little reaction. Inside, though, was chaos. What was

Skirting to a halt beside him, as though if she touched the bicolor he may tip over. She noted

Smile. It was wonderful to see him on his paws and… walking… sorta. But anything was a solid

The sudden chaos sent Midnightpaw for a loop, and for a moment she leaned into the comfort of Batpaw's fur–but only for a moment before she stood up, flicking him over the hear with her tail before stepping away from him. “I'm gonna group up with the other guards, okay? Go find Slytiger–I'll group up with you again in a minute.” The dark furred molly was about to go and dart over to where she saw some of the other guards grouping up, but she paused again. “Don't go runnin’ off during the chaos, Bats. I'd better see you once we're all out of here.”
I don't want to go to a new home without you in it.
She then slipped through the crowd, slipping past Stagskull for a moment. “Sorry, ‘m here.” She gave a wave of her tail and a simple mew to Yellowtwist, Darkcloud and Squirrelpaw, who had also gathered up, before she separated from them.

That’s what the clan devolved into as Dawnstar made her announcement. Cats began running to and fro, with some of the guards and enforcers trying to gain some semblance of order amidst the mess. It was a dung-show, honestly. She hadn’t the slightest idea what to do as everything was just so… overwhelming.
In the midst of everything, she saw her apprentice gathering cats together. Goodness, the young lass had become so dependable in recent days, perfect as she hadn’t yet had the chance to congratulate her on her promotion to guard. Sauntering up to the younger she-cat, she gently bumped her head to the darker-furred one. ”I’m really proud of you,” She said in a small whisper, amber gaze softening ever so slightly. The truth. She didn’t often praise her apprentice or anyone really, but she’d been holding onto this for a moment. She offered the words of praise that she’d never received herself, and it left her with a small smile. The sound of Mossfreckle’s voice caught her attention and her head snapped up. She was in charge of some herbs? Very well, this would be the perfect opportunity to get closer to the tom. Turning away without waiting for a response, she waved her tail as she walked off ”I’ll see you soon, Runt. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”
”Hey Mossy ~” The cream and white tabby called as she approached on silent, measured pawsteps ”I’d be delighted to help someone as talented as you. What’s in the bundles? If you don’t mind me asking. Elmshadow hadn’t taken any time to teach me any of the important stuff and I’ve always been curious about the… herbs you all handle.” A teasing glint shone in her eyes as she reached down to grab the bundle. She’d noticed that Nightshade had been hanging around the tom in recent days, so surely he was interesting enough company to dignify with her own time.
