Rabbitpaw winced as he hardly had time to start dodging until the starclan cat landed a harsh blow similar to what he tried. Though he winced and bit his tongue from making a noise he shot to the left, away from her so she couldn’t move towards him while Rabbitpaw was still close to her. Though he narrowed his eyes at her words, he didn’t think that was clumsy? He was just too slow, at least based on what she showed which was the same thing just quicker. Though whatever, he wasn’t going to talk back or anything, he probably was clumsy, he was only 7 moons after all. But Rabbitpaw didn’t understand the difference between what she did and he did but regardless he kept her movements in mind. Rabbitpaw without leaving much more time to think dashed forward this time, keeping lower to the ground as he dashed towards the other warrior.

Alright, like what she did, he thought as he shot out a paw to strike at her legs again as he did before, it felt the same but he thought that it was better this time. He bounced back and this time he was more than ready for the starclan cat to charge at him this time. His paws were light and even like they are when hunting, ready to spring and meet the feline if she went for him this time. If the Starclan cat came at him low to the ground as she had previously he would wait until she was in range and then aim to jump up and land on her shoulders. It was something that he tried against his mentor Crowtooth in battling practice. Hopefully he managed the move otherwise he was going to be sent tumbling tail over head and into the ground. Well, A+ for effort at least in that case. He couldn’t just keep throwing the same attacks, otherwise he wouldn’t land anything as she would know exactly what to expect.

That was much better dear~"She mewed. Even though they barely moved me I could feel the power in the blow. Once they grow bigger that power will be excellent in the dark forest~ She gave her chest fur a couple of licks and turned to the small cat. Alright, now that you have mastered the quick moves, why don't you show me a move of your own? Any move at all. We have the space for it~

Rabbitpaw was happy with the praise and purred a bit. Well he didn't actually know too many moves besides like the move that Crowtooth and Bravebird taught him, and then some things that he winged and kind of had worked out. And also the move he was just shown. Though not much else so what does he do next? He thought about it for a moment and decided that he would try and put together a string of attacks based on what he knows and then if that doesn't work he should ask the starclan cat about any other moves that she could teach him. He was still pretty new to his training after all, he can't be expected to know a whole lot at only 7 moons old. Though for now, combo time!

Rabbitpaw gave a short nod and then dashed forward in the same heartbeat. He acted like he was going to go for her legs again like he had twice before, though just as he got into range, he stopped. Using his remaining momentum to aim a paw of front paw strikes at her shoulders and head before hopping back as fast as he could do he could have more time to react if she came for him again. That double hit thing that he did was something that he was taught by Bravebird. He likes that move, though Rabbitpaw figures that it would probably only be useful for taking your opponent off guard otherwise they could counter it pretty easy because of how straight forward it was. He had to hope that the suddenness was able to surprise the starclan cat into letting the attacks hit but she was very skilled so it was probably wishful thinking.

Shadowpetal saw the apprentince rush forward again. Same move again? She thought. She was a little surprised as the apprentince did a different move. She could tell the blows had some power in them. If that had been done to others cats when the apprentince was bigger it could do some damage. That was very good dearie! She said with a purr. This apprentince seems to be trained some what decently.... Still... once I train them dark forest moves they will be even STRONGER~ Hmmm cats might react quickly to that thanks to how straitforward that is dearie. Why don't we work something else into it? We could have you confuse them.... She mewed. (Sorry if this is not much. I am at a writers block TvT)

Rabbitpaw woke up in what was most certainly wasn't his nest in the apprentice den, though so used to waking up in other places at this point he wasn't too worried about it immediately. At least, he wasn't until he realized that this wasn't starclan's territory or the dark forest's, not that he would be pleased about being there at least he would recognize it. But no, all around him was golden tall grass and he didn't recognize it at all and there was no scent suggesting even a bit of Windclan, or any clan for that matter. He didn't panic though, perhaps he was just having one of his strange dreams again, where he meets a friend in a variety of places. Yeah, that's likely what he was dreaming of. His green eyes moved around but as far as he can see there was only more meadow, until he turned completely around and saw in the distance a strange Twoleg den.

Well... as much as he didn't want to go near twolegs, it was also the only thing in the meadow that wasn't just more meadow so he didn't have much choice in the matter. Strange how his mind conjured something like this when he has never seen a twoleg den in general let alone one that looks as strange as this one? The den was wide open and seemed completely void of twolegs and everything else for that matter. The blonde apprentice stepped into the looming den and nothing immediately went wrong, though he kept his guard up anyways... who knows...

When the sounds of harsh winds and the biting cold died down, the growing pain in her gut dissapeared. Replacing it was a calm breeze and quiet sound of tall grass swaying with it. Feeling her strength return, Piper sat up stretching out her legs gazing around. When last did she dream of this place? Her home. Though she wished it were real she knew far from it, it was a stark contrast to where she had fallen asleep. In a rotting log near a road, the stench of cars and their shrieking sounds kept her up most of the time. You could say she was lost, but she always had been any way. It felt good to be back out in the open, the fields that stretched on as long as you could see. It felt so free! Piper stepped a few pawsteps forward and then broke into a trot slowly picking up speed until she was sprinting the looming grass. Running! It felt great after being cooped up in that stinky upwalker house, what was the point of escaping if she was too weak to run either. She hadn't ran in so long! She could finally work of some energy.

As she chased after nothing on particular, enjoying the feeling the wind whipping throw her fur, a strange scent caught nose. It was unfamiliar too her. Piper slowed her run till she was standing still. Unknown smell, in her dream? In her home! Of hell Naw. Scenting the air once more she began following the smell. It didn't smell like any of the farmcats that had lived with her or the old upwalker, neither did it smell like the kittypets she met or the stray. It could only be an intruder. Looking around she notices the scent lead to the barn, strange.

Hesitantly she approached the structure, once close enough she spotted a figure. He stunk of that weird scent! Piper would say gross but it reminded her somewhat of the fields surrounding the farm so she thought otherwise. The cat seemed short, around her height. So they were young like her, they was also lacking a tail....... Squinting down at it she wondered if his tail fell off at birth, poor thing- wait not poor thing. Intruder! Without hesitation she sprinted at the intruder harshly barreling into them attempting to knock 'em over or atleast give them a fright. "what are you doing on my farm!" she hissed, tail lashing behind her. Wait oh this a dream...Piper would still defend her home in a dream though anyway.

Rabbitpaw let out a cut of yip as something crashed into him, the scent of a cat of no discernible clan flooded his senses like the one in the odd twoleg den and he jump started. His training with his mentor, other warriors, and spirits alike kicked in then and he allowed his body to crash to the floor. Then attempting to use the attacking cat's own momentum against them, he kicked his back paws up at their stomach to try and send them up and over Rabbitpaw's head and off of him. If successful he scrambled away and up to his paws, pivoted to turn and face his attacker head on. Body in the battle stance that has been nailed down by him at this point. Rabbitpaw's eyes narrowed at the strange cat's words, an apprentice or at least the same age as one like him, was yowling at him with a lashing tail. "I didn't scent any markers, I didn't know this twoleg place belonged to anyone! I woke up here, I have no idea what a farm even is!" He hissed back. If he wasn't successful then he would be pinned down and hissing probably the same thing at the strange cat.

[ Also I tried to keep it vague on the results of Rabbitpaw's moves so that Piper can react accordingly, so depending on if Piper is flipped you can play off of the if successful part or the non-successful part, if that makes sense sorry /w\ ]

Piper managed to barrel into the intruder knocking him over, she wanted to let out a triumphant cry but didn't get the chance as almost immediately her attack backfired. The tom quickly reacted using her own force of her pounce against her and kicking her over his head. The move surprised her but she managed to swerve around and land on her paws, a bit wonky, without exactly crashing ungracefully into the ground. Keeping her claws unsheathed she prepared incase the tom decided to attack her, he was standing kinda weirdly. None of the other farms cats exactly stood like that when fighting, come to think about it this cat seemed different.

Quickly taking in the intruders appearance she noticed smaller things, sorta. He seemed to be scrappier, thinner than her fellow farm cats or the spoilt house cats she'd seen, his fur also looked unkempt at most. Not as neat as upwalkers usually kept it. She half paid attention to what he said, something about territory, twolegs? Whatever those were and- Piper scoffed. He didn't know what a farm was? "are you kidding? How do you not know what a farm is." finding this amusing she decide he wasn't a threat, yet. Plus this was just a dream, she would know if she were really home.

Sheathing her claws, she took a step back trying to show she wasn't hostile, for atleast now that is. "are you lost or something, mate? I'm guessing you're either a new farm cat or your upwalkers moved nearby?" she asked, the cat was clearly not fed well and was scruffy and being her age she bet he had some upwalkers looking for him. Poor thing must be lost. "uh maybe, sorry about attacking you and all. Just an instinct, my name's Piper by the way. What's your name scamp?" she queried trying to be more friendly, it's not like she had interacted with others in a very long time. Way to start off by trying to hurt them.

Rabbitpaw narrowed his eyes as the other cat scoffed at him. He took a step back and looked up and down at the cat. She didn't seem to be ready to fight anymore despite her previous attack. So he very hesitantly lifted from being ready to fight into a regular though tense stand. She didn't seem like she really knew what she was doing, just got the jump on him, from the way she just let herself be thrown and whatever. Though why would he need to know about twoleg things? Obviously this feline was a kittypet, they were wearing what he believes is a collar, at least it followed how they were described to him and she was talking about up walkers...did she mean twolegs? He resisted the urge to roll his eyes, twolegs were nothing but trouble and he didn't even need to see one to know that.

"No, I don't know what a farm is...is it your twoleg's territory? I'm a Windclan apprentice, not a kittypet like you." He offered, not unfriendly, but a bit huffy about being asked if he was a kittypet. No way! He nearly stuck his tongue out and scrunched his nose like a kit at the thought of that. Rabbitpaw was a Windclan cat through and through, nothing can compare. Though...maybe he had been a...farm...cat a long time ago. Rabbitpaw knows that he was brought into the clan when he was too little to remember, then he was raised by Quailheart. Though that had no effect on his dedication and loyalty now, he hardly even remembered that he wasn't clan born and its not a big deal to him. "Now then, my clan is probably getting worried so I would be really happy if you could point me in the direction of Windclan. I haven't been here before." Rabbitpaw hasn't even been in the other clan's territories, let alone past Windclan's own borders so he was incredibly lost. Though judging by the similarities to his own home he didn't think that the farm was too far off from home.

Piper watched the tom hesitantly relaxed, well sorta, he still looked pretty tense sadly. Well Piper had expected that, practically you can't just attack someone and the immediately try to befriend them. However she could pick up on the fact he was thinking about a lot of things, she could see the wheels turning in his head. Before she could ask an more questions he responded. Again with the word twolegs, what a weird way of saying upwalkers. So he wasn't a farm cat or housecat, she assumed kittypet means those Scaredy house dweller she had to live with for the past few moons. He sounded sort of offended by being called a housecat, she would be too. Those pigs were awful and boring, but why would he take offence to being a farm cat too? That's as free as it gets. Though the tom caught her attention again with the strange word Windclan, what the hell is a Windclan.

"whats a windclan? Are you ok, did you fall headfirst into a well. You sound a bit silly" she asked a bit concerned now, maybe this cat had serious brain damage and didn't know where he was from, poor thing. Shame. Then it clicked, he didn't have upwalkers! "oh your a stray! Don't worry man my upwalkers atleast my farm ones are very nice, they'll let you come in and out of the barn whenever you want. They'll feed you too" she said as she made her way over to him trying to usher the tom out the barn towards the smaller barn where the old upwalkers lived. Poor thing need food and maybe a trip to the scary healer upwalker. don't worry you'll fit in here very well, uh.." she began and then scratched around in her mind trying to find a name for the tom, he looked like a bunny? Maybe a rabbit since he is scruffier, he has the tail and ears... bunny was sillier though. Yep suitable nickname. "yeah, you'll fit in quite fine here, bunnyface."
