But maybe that was wrong. Elders also tottered around a bit, so maybe Or an elder? Or...... he didn't want to overwhelm Nightgaze with guesses, but he also didn't want to take too long thinking and force her to act more. The nursery? If that wasn't it his next idea would be....he didn't even know. Maybe the medicine cat's den? You were weak and got hit so you had to rest? He was decidedly not cut out for this. @Morrigan

It was funny how some cats seemed more skilled in this then others, and that creativity and a willingness to try anything and everything would get your point across better then expected. Not shocking really, that those were the favored attributes in an event run by Mudhound. The more serious cats could get a proper competitive training event later, for now acting was the game!

Looking on the other groups Mudhound winced as Lightlarks guess for Sproutfleck was sooooo close but not quite there and in the end Hawkcatcher and Drizzlecloud guessed faster. Nightgaze and Brindlepaw, tied for the top were not to be outdone though and managed to nail a rather hard one with nursery.
In the end Lightlark didnt get it and Mudhound decided to help a bit, piping with a "Going forward Lightlark to help you out, each pair gets a unique word each round so if Drizzlecloud and Hawkcatcher have swimming youre not gonna. I think you make a really good.... what you are Sproutfleck so you two get a bit of extra time! Maybe try pointing at your thing (we got some in camp) and making its noises to help? If you wanna!"
There were some pairs that didnt participate this round it seemed, Oatpaw, Dragonflycliff, and Mallowpaw left alone and Mudhound really hoped it was just a single round fluke. If it wasnt the hope was they'd find new partners, so Mudhound gave some time for that to occur.
"Alright everyone five minute break while Sproutfleck and Lightlark give it one last shot! Everyone whos been quiet, poke you partners and maybe like plan for your next word? I said you cant talk but I never said you cant signal, maybe make a few key gestures to indicate if its a cat, animal, plant or thing to narrow the guesses! You will have to actually sign it though~"

Springing to her feet in an instance, Nightgaze nodded vigorously. "Ya got it! Great job Brindle!" she purred happily, using a nickname for Brindlepaw like she usually did for everyone in her clan. Her trust was not misplaced! The small warrior cat was seriously impressed by how the apprentice got it, she was sure her acting was terrible!
Ok, ok, they got extra time! Great, now they could get down what some gestures meant! "Allllright! So this means small..." She held her paws in front of her and began moving them closer together, making the gap between them shorter "...And this means big!" Night did the sam action but moved her paws further apart thhis time. Looking back up at her partner she smiled widely. "Get it?"
Oatpaw blinked uncertainly. The shy apprentice had been walked away from... was he not good enough?
