✿｡°°｡✿ they. . them ➔ short yet muscular brown feline with darker brown flecks and back. they have a white underbelly and and a stubbed tail. their fur is fluffy and they have orange eyes.

Asterdance had gotten used to the whole being... dead thing. That was the cycle of life, they supposed. Everyone would be gone eventually, and they had always been running on expired time. Still, StarClan was rather lonely without their clanmates. Er, the ones they knew in their living life at least. Cindersky was here and while she was pretty cool, she wasn't.. Bushtuft or Bumblestar. Nor was she one of her siblings.

The bobtail tried to keep themself busy with messing about with the living world. Small ways — try to support ThunderClan silently from the grave whilst causing inconvenience for the other clans. It was amusing, really. They never tried anything like ,, the storm. (In fact, Asterdance didn't have much of a clue how they had managed to do so. They had felt so panicked at the idea of their brother dying ,, )

Which speaking of their brother - they wanted to try and send him something. They hadn't tried to yet, shamefully, but Whisperingwolf's words echoed throughout their head and they didn't want to hurt him. Didn't want to hurt Roseraven, either. Asterdance simply wanted him to know that they were there. And he was never truly alone.

They leaned down to wrap their jaws around the stem of a large, purple aster flower and plucked it from the ground. It was the first thing they had ever given to Spiderthroat. (Not exact, of course, but close enough.) It was a bit silly - how it just happened to be an aster flower of all things.

They sat down, shuffling the flower closer before closing their eyes. The tug was quicker to access now. The sparks inside them ignited and Asterdance reached forward. They couldn't .. force reality to shift. It was more of a,, suggestion. Really. The moment they detected a small rift, they pushed the flower to and sent it on its merry way to Spiderthroat.

Their eyes fluttered open, a pleased noise escaping them at the lack of evidence. Success!!

being dead..a weird thing..fognettle still couldnt really wrap his head around it, being amongst the stars rather than turning brilliant blue eyes skywards to watch his ancestors shine and sparkle and watch him from above.
he felt weirdly floating, disconnected, it made sense, his body was still somewhere in the outskirts. fognettle shivered, he didnt want to think about the things ghost might've done to his body after everything went black.
there was regret, heavy saturated regret for all he had done..all he hadnt done..all he was supposed to do but never did.
there was doubt. had he lived a good life? had been been a good cat? one would think ending up in the place amongst the stars would make that question useless. rhetorical.
but fognettle couldnt help but wonder. who decided their fate?..and why had he been chosen for this place even after all he'd done..all he hadnt done.
starry, blue eyes lifted from the ground in front of translucent lilac paws, why was it all peace here but below the clans fought teeth and claw?
how was it fair to let their children, their loved ones and the innocent, wander through life without answers. how was it fair to watch the bloodshed, as if there wasnt room for unity.
fognettle felt heavy with guilt and somber.

Riverwhisper woke up with a start. No. He couldn't be dead. His mate was expecting his kits, damn it! He stumbled to the nearest cat, collapsing at their paws. "Do you know how I can get back?" he gasped, looking up with desperation in his eyes. "Please. I need to get back," he begged.

fognettle took note of another warrior flowly flickering in and out of existence before fully materialising nearby, they carried the same unsure starry glow and translucency that fognettle himself did. he had seen some starclan cats look a lot more..well..one shouldnt really call it alive, but they looked less milky and more like they probably had in life. the warrior seemed upset, fear and the starry reminder of blood seemingly pulsing off his silvery tabbied fur, fognettle couldnt help but remain still, he had paused in his track when the flickering began and he had still not quite wrapped his head around the apperant fact that he had just witnessed a death.
"i do not." he replied simply, head moving into the slightest shake, starry bright blue eyes shining with pity but also acceptance for his own demise. "im just another starclan warrior, i do not posses the ability to send you back, im sorry"
