Russetpaw smiled and nodded excitedly before quickly calming themself down again. They crouched down, slightly turning to the side. Lionflop was definitely way bigger than them, but they could test their luck.
Russetpaw leaped, attempting to knock their mentor off-balance.

The apprentice listened carefully, before nodding. When their mentor would pounce, they would counter it by using their claws, but not in anyway that would do any real harm since this was training.
