She walked up to her mentor stiffly. A new cat. A new cat he had never seen before. And a large one. Not like Orange. Her face blanked, how would this cat react to her? Calmly, so far. So he would relax his body. But she kept still, just as he did, her eyes blinked as she stared into the others, nothing like Orange. He wouldn't wrinkle his nose though, the other cat might not like it, not to mention he didn't smell like Orange, a bit damper maybe. Still thunderclan. Her brain tried to piece together what his cat would be like. Maybe he would be mean, he was a big cat after all. Much bigger than she was. So he would have to look up to see the face of his mentor.

Brackenclaw would look down at his Apprentice. The Young cat seemed smaller than most Apprentices and Brackenclaw made sure to note this as it would be important for later whenever they learned Battle moves. Brackenclaw towered over the Young cat. "So your Vixenpaw I'm Brackenclaw and it would seem I will be your Mentor. I promise to impart all the knowledge I can to you." Brackenclaw mewed with a deep voice he attempted to put a lighter tone on his words to let the Apprentice know he wouldn't be mean. Although much in Brackenclaw's way he seemed to be both short spoken and business oriented even when he attempted to be nice his habit of putting business first seemed to still get through. @Epiales

Brackenclaw walked through the camp towards the Apprentices den it was early morning the sun was just peeking out through the top of the trees the air was cool but not cold and it was partly cloudy. Brackenclaw was already wide awake and rearing to go. He had planned to go through the Territory and show the area to his new Apprentice. Brackenclaw approached the den before sticking his head into the den. "Vixenpaw are you ready to get started with your training?" Brackenclaw called out deeply before popping his head back out of the den. He would wait patiently for the new Apprentice to get up and come out of the den grooming his paw and running it over his ears as he waited. @Epiales

Vixen got up quickly at the sound of her mentor's voice. Loud, and deep. It wasn't bad, better than a raspy voice. He hattteddd raspy voices, they hurt his ears and he could never understand what they were trying to say. Finally, she made her way out of the den, going to stand next to her mentor's side with a tilt of her head. He rolled his neck a bit, it hurt from having to look up so much at... Braken... claw? Maybe, she didn't remember much. But he was sure of it, maybe he would ask him. She stretched a bit, her muscles sore from practicing with Orange yesterday! Maybe Orange would help him today too! She was upset though that Orange didn't become her mentor, but he could still help, right? Hopefully, because he is good at it, and he wanted to be the best warrior ever! Especially for hunting.

Brackenclaw noticed that his Apprentice was quiet he didn't quite mind this Brackenclaw wasn't much for conversation not when there was work to be done. And in clan life there was always work to be done that would be his first lesson to teach his Young Apprentice. "Come on I'm going to be taking you on a Tour of our Clans Territory." Brackenclaw mewed to the Young cat. He wasn't mean about it but he seemed to not waste much time. Brackenclaw decided that he would show each landmark to Vixenpaw and then ask them what Prey they might smell so they could get a feel for where to go for each prey item. Brackenclaw was quick despite his large size looking like it would slow him down. He would easily clear certain branches and rocky outcrops with fast, powerful, leaps that allowed him to move faster than he otherwise would be able to. Using his size and powerful muscles to seem to fly through the Territory. Brackenclaw would look back to see how his Apprentice might be keeping up with his speed this would be the first time he would get a feel for his new Apprentices capabilities at this current time. @Epiales

Vixen gave a loud huff as his little legs began to cramp up. She stopped for a moment to stretch her legs out, she was oddly aware of her muscles at the moment. And they hurt. He took a deep breath before getting back up and flicking his tail up in determination. She quickly pushed her paws forward and began to run. He let out a small purr when he began to catch up to his mentor, maybe his mentor was going a bit slower but he was able to keep up! She flicked her tail up and away from her legs as she kept running around the territory. When they crossed a part of the territory Vixen didn't know, which he didn't know a lot, or really, any. Bracken would slow down and explain it to him. Just the name and a quick detail about it. They didn't go in a explore it really, just ran through the territory and continued onto the next spot.

Brackenclaw would first head for the safest of the areas that being Firefly Cove. Once they reached it Brackenclaw slowed down to a stop he was impressed his Apprentice not only kept up but was catching up to him. "Good job on keeping up but I hope you know this is only your first stop. This is Firefly Cove. It is probably the safest place to be still don't go out of camp alone you never know what might happen. As you can see this place is a beautiful meadow with flowers of all types. Here you can find Rabbits, voles, and mice, as well as an assortment of birds! They are plentiful mostly during Greenleaf and new-leaf. Don't expect to find as much prey here during Leaf-fall and Leaf-bare though. Now scent the air can you smell the prey around here?" Brackenclaw meowed deeply explaining the area behind him. The large Maine Coon would likely be taking the Apprentice here mostly during Vixenpaw's early Apprenticeship not wanting to put his new Apprentice in too dangerous areas in the beginning. @Epiales
