"You wanna go get sap?" Wolfhive had noticed he hadn't collected any sap during their outting. He didn't really mind going out again, but was surprised Fallingpaw only thought of it once he started nit-picking his work. "Though, I think moss is closer in texture than fur. Also probably lasts longer than ferns.." Which would wither and dry with time much faster. Moss got dry, but otherwise it seemed to take much longer before it had to be replaced. The only reason they really changed bedding was for comfort purposes and 'cause some cats just stank.

After the corrections, it did take Wolfhive a moment to find an issue. "Ah, make sure the den entrance is enforced." He beckoned him to join him by it, running his paw along the worn and splintering brambles. "Some of this is getting too old, 'n we don't want this collapsing on apprentices, y'know?"

Fallingpaw nodded his head "Yeah we should go out again if you dont mind we can grab some brambles and more moss." he said as he watched wolfhive run his paw around the entrance "yeah we dont need to stress out the medcats much more." he said smiling

"Well, Drizzlecloud can always use more work. Springlight's the one shouldering all of it." Wolfhive's muzzle dropped as he glanced in the direction of the medicine cat's den. "Let's pop out then, grab whatever you need and patch this up. Once this is fixed I think we can move onto the next den."

Back at the apprentices' den, Wolfhive paused by the entrance and waited for Fallingpaw. "How's it feel, now that you're almost free from this duty?"

Fallingpaw sighed "relieving " he meowed "ready to be done " he said stretching as he grabbed the grass he had left over and fixed up the entrance "and done?" he said not sure if it was fully complete hoping it was

Wolfhive took a moment to examine the work. It wasn't anything fancy, but it'd do for now - so he let it slide. "Yeah, you wanna lead the way to Bumba? Once we're done speaking with her, if she's given the OK with your punishment bein' lifted - I can take you on a quick hunting trip. Get you out for a bit, see where you're at skill-wise." Mostly a refresher, since Fallingpaw had the training - was just rusty.

Brackenclaw walked through the camp towards the Apprentices den it was early morning the sun was just peeking out through the top of the trees the air was cool but not cold and it was partly cloudy. Brackenclaw was already wide awake and rearing to go. He had planned to go through the Territory and show the area to his new Apprentice. Brackenclaw approached the den before sticking his head into the den. "Vixenpaw are you ready to get started with your training?" Brackenclaw called out deeply before popping his head back out of the den. He would wait patiently for the new Apprentice to get up and come out of the den grooming his paw and running it over his ears as he waited. @Epiales
