Useless. Useless, useless! Everyone she's tried to get training from has either bailed on her or flat out refused. It's not FAIR. She needs to graduate now and if they don't care about that one bit then Wrenpaw will just go through every single warrior until there's no one left because how dare she prioritize her own training, right? Exhaust all her resources until she has nothing and then... take matters into her own paws.

"Wisteriaheart," Wren says as she approaches the feline, tail flicking behind her, agitated, but keeping her emotions in check. "Could you help with battle training? I only know a basic feint and I want to have enough of a foundation to begin water battle tactics soon."

(Sorry it took me so long to reply, I took a short break and I am trying to catch up)

Wisteriaheart glanced to the apprentice with a quick nod and flicked her tail, signalling for her to follow. She walked toward a small clearing. It had short grass with taller plants and bushes on the outside. The trees overhead served as a nice canopy and would be perfect for surprise attacks on a potential enemy.

``This is what I call a Double Splat Pin. It makes it easy to remember because of the stupid name. I'm going to pretend i'm hunting and you are going to try to attack me. This always works to get the higher ground but only if your the same size, bigger, or better at battling them then. It catches them off guard because they don't think you'll notice them until it's too late. Anyway, try to attack me. `` She spoke the words slow and steady, making sure the apprentice processed her speaking clearly and understood.

Wrenpaw acknowledges the instructions with a flick of her ear. Although, there really wasn't any instructions beyond 'hey this is what it's called so just jump on me!' and Wren... doesn't know what to do with that little, but she won't complain. Hell, she'll just wing it and if she does something wrong, then that's not on her, now is it? As Wisteriaheart goes to pretend she's hunting, Wren slips behind some bushes, slinking so she's downwind, and eyeing the warrior carefully.

One breath, two, and then a sliver blur streaks out from her hiding position, and the apprentice launches herself in the air, attempting to latch onto the warrior's back as best she can without using her claws. If she's able to land, she'll latch onto Wisteriaheart's scruff with her teeth to keep herself from being thrown off - not hard enough to puncture skin, but enough to try and keep herself firmly latched in place.
