A frustrated glaze poured over the medicine cat's gaze, disappointment coiling within her at her lack of abundant dandelions. The herb had been one of the worst hit during the herb shortage prior to leaf bare, and with it still being so far away from its flowering season, it severely hampered her options to help felines deal with pain. Once she was certain Vixenstare was stable enough, she would offer some poppy seeds to aid with what could no doubt be an incredibly uncomfortable feeling at the absolute mildest. If she could spare some later, however, she would revisit the warrior's bandages. They would be needing changing sooner rather than later, in any case. If any of the numbing herbs were left to her, she would be able to provide some level of comfort at the very least. Perhaps not as efficient as the seeds, but safer for the weakened molly.
"I will be back to fix those smaller injuries later. When I fix your wrappings today," Lightningstorm reassured the warrior, glancing once at Twilightstar's wounds before she moved on, her attention on Bravebird's injury.
Neither Hawkfur nor Bravebird had particularly pleasant looking injuries on them, with one having a rather outstandingly bloodied leg and the other with an eye that could be permanently lost if not looked at properly. The eye seeming a more important task to save than the leg - it was rather messed up, but it did not seem broken at the very least - she padded towards the lynx point, grabbing marigold and cobwebs, getting to work on a poultice instantly. While she normally preferred celandine to deal with potential eye infections, this was not a common eye injury she was dealing with. The stronger herb would be preferred in this case. The cobweb would hopefully stick better and give less stress to the sensitive area as well while it healed. The puncture wounds on her haunches would need to be looked over, too. Deep set punctures such as those were breeding grounds for infection if left unchecked. Sunfuzz would be useful here to help heal up those deeper injuries.
Another voice catching her attention, she turned, glancing at Silverpaw before shaking her head.
"Rest for now. I'll get to your injuries as fast as I can. The less the lot of you move, the better for your injuries," Lightningstorm mewed in earnest as she finished the poultice and grabbed some poppy seeds, assuming the fiery warrior's eye hurt worse than it looked. It seemed to be the case with injuries such as these.
"I'm going to need you to keep both eyes closed tight. You might feel a bit of a sting. That's the poultice. If you want to keep that eye, though, stand still. Here... these poppy seeds should help," she mewed, offering a pair of dark, round seeds to Bravebird, nudging them with her nose as she kept the poultice safe in her paw, ready to work on saving the warrior's eye once the poppy seeds were eaten.
