Silkpaw jumps when he hears his name be called, and blinks when he swivels his head in the direction of the speaker. A patrol?
So soon after he'd been made an apprentice?
Oh... Okay.
He approached the area the other groups were approaching to join up with their own patrols.
He stares, looking for Dusktalon and Finchoaw.
Wait... Was the warrior's name Dusktalon?
Or was he mistaken?
Oh dear.
And they were hunting, right? He thinks that's what they were supposed to do. And they were going to.... Icy Heartlands?
He hoped he was actually remembering everything correctly.

While I do not (currently) have any cats in the Clan's, I try to have at least a few role plays with my outsiders (Sedgestorm, Woollyfeather) and my StarClanner Coldamber. Most of my role plays until I feel well enough to keep up with sweeps will be related to Covenant of the Sky duties.

Stretching out her limbs, the scarred grey feline wandered over to where Lynxshade was calling out patrols. Lostspark did wonder why Lynxshade was placing all the more-inclined-to-finish-a-patrol cats in one place instead of spreading them out... but oh well. Lostspark would not deny the chance to go on patrol with one of her own kits.
Sending a brief, encouraging smile towards her daughter, Mirepaw [ @taillow ], Lostspark watched her for a moment before making her way to an empty spot where she'd be seen from afar. Now all she had to do was wait for Mistlewhisker, Birdpaw, and Magpiepaw.
A patrol? Ooo, important! Oh oh! A border patrol? Even better! Finally, her place in this clan was being fully considered.
Magpiepaw hurried over, the rushing wind fanning out her tufs of fur. She planted her flank next to Lostspark as she quickly reassembled her now frizzing fur.

Wonderful. His desire to help wasn't turned down, though Mossfreckle didn't seem too pleased by the way he was approached on the matter. Perhaps Bitternpaw would need to work on his approach but it was difficult to keep in mind when his personality was so... Impulsive and brash. Staring at the medicine cat apprentice with his usual stern gaze he simply nods in response before actually speaking up.
"Understood. Thank you for having me."
That was polite enough, right? Acknowledgement, a thank you... On the right track, for sure. He glances to his other clan mates, taking note that his mentor was also to be joining them,before turning his attention back to Mossfreckle.
Oh, a border patrol. She had been called for a border patrol… At least this gave her something to do today! She never liked to sit around, after all. If she had the time to sit around and do nothing, then she definitely had the time to get up and put her paws to work somewhere else.
If she could recall correctly, Fallenmoon was a deaf warrior, right? Her eyes scanned over her clanmates, spotting Fallenmoon near the warrior’s den and–oh, yeah Batpaw had been called to a patrol too. On her way over to fetch the warrior for their patrol, she gave Batpaw’s shoulder a gentle flick on the shoulder, but she didn’t spare him a single glance.
The dark furred molly approached Fallenmoon, pausing right in front of him. Patting the ground before him with her paw, hoping that the vibrations from the action would alert him to her presence. Assuming that she had caught his attention–or, dearly hoping–she gestured with her tail to the patrols that were forming. “Whispering Wetlands, we’re on border patrol.” Midnightpaw offered the tom a smile as she spoke, putting extra emphasis on the location and type of patrol they were set to go on, hoping the warrior could read her lips. If not, surely Deadstone could guide them.

Fallenmoon has heard the vibrations and looked up. His pretty grey eyes gleamed as he read the apprenrtice's lips. He gave a shy nod and mewed softly. "Thank you" And beckoned for her to lead the way with a small tail flick

Ah, yes, the familiar annoyance of being sent on patrol. Padding to the patrol place, the young tom takes a seat and keeps an eye out for his patrol mates, eyes narrowed as if that alone would will them to appear. If they didn't? Well, he supposes he would have to make do on his own.
And she was already gone. Foolish, Midpaw! Getting his attention only to throw it away on a whim. He would get her back for that. Tail thudding irritably behind himself, he eyes the warriors that approach with a scrutinizing gaze.
Great. It seemed like they both had the smart idea to show up. That made things a lot easier. Though it seemed as though they were looking to him to set off which, uh, he didn't have a clue where he was going! So he just scoffs and glances toward the exit of camp.
"We should be going. Lead the way to... Wherever it was we were going."

Birdpaw popped up out of nowhere, giving her Mama a big, shining grin. "Mama!!! My first patrol!" She chirped in her mother's voice, kneading her white paws into the ground. Oh man, this was so exciting!!! She hadn't been on the last few rounds of patrols, but her siblings had! It was finally her turn!

Mistlewhisker padded up to her patrol, giving Lynxshade a nod before meeting up with Lostspark and Magpiepaw, who were already waiting. She dipped her head to the pair. "Apologies for making you wait. Shall we?" Once everyone gathered had given their acknowledgement, Mistlewhisker padded out of camp and towards Herondive Hollow.
