This story refers to a cursed girl named Islode, cursed to the age of thirteen living in a old abandoned lumberjack's shed near the woods' edge. Hre's some more info but first..

 

A group of friends, aged 13-15, have a sleepover. one dares the rest to knock on the wicked witch's door, resulting in their kidnapping and her telling them her story. They become friends and are taught magic.

They introduce her to the world and convice the people she isn't a threat. Maybe someome makes her high-tech contacts that shield her eyes in a way where they cant harm anyone or something.

Run, Islode, RUN! The same phrase blared through her head, ears ringing, RUN.

It was 1812, and the villagers of Silverton were swept into the beliefs. Islode, the red-eyed girl, was a curse of dark magic. Outside her home, an angry mob raised their torches and pitchforks, shouting “GIVE US THE CURSED ONE! KILL HER!” Islode shook in her mother’s arms. She was only 13. It was her 13th birthday as the villagers screeched her name. She looked at her mother, sobbing.

“It’s not safe anymore, dear. Grab your bag and your wand, and run. Run like the wind.”

Islode had escaped the mob, ending at a small, abandoned Lumberjack’s cabin. She slipped in the door, lit a candle, and slammed the door shut, bolting it closed.

She looked around. Spacious enough, she thought. She mumbled a spell under her breath, lighting the room with a singular candle. She watched it melt for a second and placed it on a table. She pulled out emergency pots and pans, using long black cloth to cover the windows.

She piled old wood into the fireplace and plopped onto a tattered bed. She pulled blankets from her bag and laid them across.

She pulled out her hood and cape and slid them on.

That was the last time i ever saw my mother.

Information

Since the year 1812, Islode has lived, cursed of age thirteen forever, in an abandoned lumberjack’s shed. She’s mastered her cursed magic. She wears a rose as a partial eyepatch. Her eyes appear grey, but are red with the hood removed.

When her eyes are revealed, they glisten blood red and pitch black, tear-like liquid drips from them. When her eyes are revealed for too long, a bodily possession occurs as some demon of the curse takes over with the ability to wreak havoc.

She hasn’t been outside of the shed since the year 1899, where she was again, attempted to be killed. A few years into the 1900’s, this still occurred. Into the 1980’s, her existence became past and people claimed her to be a spooky children’s tale. Some rambunctious teenagers, however, have, in the past, tried to set her home on fire. She scared them with her pet black widow spiders.


Islode is a light-brown-skinned girl with eyes that appear grey-ish light blue with a white aura, though her true color is pure blood red. She has ice-blonde hair that is usually down to cover her face. She wears a tattered black leather cape and hood. She has a small wand with a black cat carved into the wood.

Underneath her hood and cape is a tattered black-and-white long dress with ruffled edges and a torn end. It has laced, silky sleeves. There is a tattered brown apron atop the dress.

Her only friends are pet black widows and other spiders, and outdated delicate porcelain dolls.

Somewhat after she ran away, Islode's mother was killed and hung, as it was deemed a sin to mother a demon.

Islode lives unaware of our technology and the current year, as this takes place in right now, as in 2024.

She loves learning everything, especially strange facts. She is shy, reserved and very quiet. She is kind and loving when around people that she is close too. Might be built upon later.
