Mushroompaw lay in his nest, his eyes wide and worried. Fawnpaw's body flashed in his mind whenever he closed his blue eyes, so he tried not to. His eyes scanned over the darkness, then he felt someone or something bite his tail. 'SNAKE!' Mushroompaw thought instantly, jumping up and twisting around and facing whoever bit him. It was just another apprenitce...Not a fox-dunged killer snake. Mushroompae frowned at the molly, settling down again and tucking his paws under his stomach. He didn't feel like signing to them.
It was bloody unfortunate when Kestrelpaw's revenge-victim-tail-thing was whipped back out of her mouth as the owner of said tail surged to their paws and turned around to shoot her a glower. Oh. "You're not Shrikepaw." She blurted dumbly, staring unabashedly at the silent, frowny-faced tom. Kestrelpaw puffed out her chest. "But if you were Shrikepaw, I would have eaten your tail for breakfast! Literally! So ha! Take that, Shrikepaw!" The last sentence was directed in a random direction of the den, and not particularly silent either. Kestrelpaw grimaced slightly when a couple of apprentices grumbled at her to shut up.
Mushroompaw cocked his head to the side as the molly spoke about someone named 'Shrikepaw', his ear twitching. 'Must he a friend or sibling.' He thought, his blue eyes flickering over the molly. Mushroompaw's frown melted away into a smile as Kestralpaw started talking about eating Shrikepaw's tail. The last sentence was a bit loud, a little too loud, and a couple of apprentice's were grumbling. Mushroompaw pulled his paws out from under his chest and waved one slightly to get Kestrelpaw's attention. It was dark in the den, but they could still see. 'Hello.' The black furred apprentice signed to the other.

Sleeping in the apprentice's den was slowly becoming more and more natural. Crowpaw had not been in his nest for quite some time, and he had only returned perhaps a moon or a moon and a half ago. He was probably the oldest apprentice in the Clan, but after having to go through what he did, could anyone really blame him? I'm huge compared to some of these fur balls. To be fair... he was a large cat and had developed quite a belly after having to survive off of twoleg scraps for some time.
His head lay on his soft nest as he contemplated his life as he had done so many nights before. This time was different though. He was looking at it through a new light. He closed his eyes for only a moment, wanting to dream about running through the forest with his sister. A false memory he wished was true, one could say. He had only just woken up from the meeting in the Dark Forest he had with Poisonberry and wanted it out of his head and situated himself to get more comfortable. The stiffness in his leg was far from comfortable, and it didn't help he was bleeding from two spots: his neck (though it was just a scratch) and his leg (a bite-mark Poisonberry had so happily given him).
His wish for the false memory was cut short as the apprentice's den erupted in an angry flurry of tails and hisses. Shrikepaw, the little idiot, had jumped on top of him! His hackles raised and his tail puffed up to three times its regular size. "SHRIKEPAW! YOU IDIOT! HAVEN'T YOU NOTICED WE'RE TRYING TO SLEEP IN HERE?!" Very harsh, he knew that. But how else could he have reacted? With having met Poisonberry and argued with her, he was still on edge. Damn it I've got blood on my nest. A rush of panic went through his head as he stared from Sprucepaw to his nest. Crap... Crowpaw cleared his throat and sighed. He was glad it was getting darker... perhaps no one would notice his injuries and instead focus on Shrikepaw's idiotic action?

Dewkit had settled down into her nest, tired from seemingly doing nothing the entire day. her light gray fur fluffed out as she tucked her muzzle under her tail, closing her icy blue eyes.
Alpinepaw was on top of the Apprentice Den, walking along. She noticed the patched-up spot that she fell in as a kit. She thought, "I'd better be very careful up here..."
