a sprawling semi well kept backyard, doted with trees and bushes that prove a good hiding place to cats and small animals like mice and lizards alike.
this garden belong to a small house, not unlike any of the other houses along this street, owned by a regular couple, two men in their early twenties and their cat, daniel.

Jesper

In the next yard over, a young tom by the name of Jesper lounged about his own garden. He was currently trying to take in all these new and unfamiliar smells -- flowers, grass, humans, cats -- and adjust to his new home. His housefolk had decided to abandon their old nest for a reason he wasn't aware of, and had moved halfway across the country to live in this sad old place.

Jesper would never understand twolegs. But to be honest, he didn't want to, so whatever. As long as they fed him and let him outside every day, he didn't care. But the strong scent of other cats was indeed promising. In his last neighborhood, he'd had a next-door friend named Fizz. They'd played together nearly every day until Jesper had been forced to leave. Now he was lonely. Sure his housefolk had a dog, but, ah... it was much bigger than him and constantly confined him to the upstairs. Luckily, his housefolk had finally installed a Jesper-sized door in their own twoleg-sized one.
