pinefire wakes up bright and early, a once in a lifetime thing since she loves to snooze in. well, it's a little hard to sleep in now, considering she has minkpaw to train. not to mention, she feels a new obligation to try her absolute hardest, seeing riverclan's current situation..it was looking pretty dim. and man, was she holding a grudge against tansypaw and larkstar.

flopping in her nest, trying to force herself awake, the mottled tabby stretches her limbs and finally rolls out of her nest. a quick groom of her pelt followed by a small shake, another stretch and a yawn, her orange eyes land on the entrance of the den. she can see a layer of snow, and grimaces. she's tired of this cold weather - sick of it! she's half tempted to just flop back onto her nest and go back to sleep. maybe she can just go hunting later in the day, when it was a bit warmer. she feels blessed that she hasn't gotten sick yet.

she looks around at her denmates. hey, there's fadingsun! pinefire thinks with a growing smile. she's not too familiar with the guy, but he seemed to have some brains from what she saw at the meeting. "yo fadingsun!" she greets, approaching the tabby. "you up for a spar? claws sheathed, obviously."
